I read in the news today that apparently Palin thought Africa was a country, and South Africa was just a part of it. And that's only one of several things. Imagine having her as a vice-president? Nothing could go wrong!

No, you read about one of McCain's campaign staffers trying to make Palin look worse. Do a small bit of research ;)

The about Palin that really made me depise her even more was how she was against abortion in all situations excluding one where the mother's life is in danger because of the baby. That means not allowing women to have abortions even in cases of pregnancy from rape and incest. I believe that if a woman is a victim of rape or incest and she becomes pregnant, that is a situation that is mentally dangerous to her. I find it hard to believe that someone wouldn't be greatly affected by such circumstances, and denying women of that choice is something I find to be very disturbing.

Indeed, not even in cases of pregnancy arising from rape by a family member...

I totally agree. Not only is it a unpleasent experience for the mother, it is for the child too. And also if you have a mentally traumatised mother, how can she bring up her child.

Apperently though, I am wrong for having that opinion. /offtopic

Even though I'm in England, I took a fair bit of interest in the presidental election. I don't know an awful lot about it though, but hopefully things will improve out that way soon :D
