Earlier this week there was some discussion in the media about removing all the mental images from beer commercials.
What that means basicly is no people doing anything, only the product and some info.
Then there was also this little vote held by a radio station. 85% of the people asked wanted to keep the beer commercials the same. For me that was somewhat annoying and confusing. If the people could decide on this one, they'd choose to get bombarded by... well... by lies to make them buy something.
Why? They gave reasons like the beer commercials are funny or have the best looking women on them. Even all my friends thought the same.
This bugs me a lot.
How about you guys? If you could, would you "ban" advertising?
