Hardware (1990)

Post-apocalyptic setting, robot murderer, PiL and Ministry soundtrack and cameos by Motorhead's Lemmy and That Dude From Fields of The Nephilim. Classic.

I think Murderous Robots After Nuclear Holocaust genre is sorely underrepresented these days.

Aaaah, I've been wanting to see that one forever, ever since I saw an add for it in an old Phangoria magazine. Time to go hunting. ;)

Hitchcock's The Lodger, which was brilliant! Not normally one for the silent films, but this one was so damn enjoyable! Excellent soundtrack in the one I watched from Joby Talbot.. Highly recommended!

Shooter

Good movie. Well thought out and some nice twists. Definitely recommend to people who like movies with moderate to highly elaborate shoot outs and a decent story.

For a long time I haven't "eeww'd" while watching a movie.
This is americanized version of (I think) Korean horror film, which I haven't unfortunately seen.
So the script isn't the best one, directing is sometimes bit odd and some scenes are not that flattering to
anyone in the film :D
Some really cheesy things to be seen, haha :D

But still, after all this, I really liked the movie!
Some quite embarrasing special effects, some extremely good ones, the varying kept things interesting
User comment ("Boo!") is pretty much my thoughts too.

Big points for the ewwwww-factor and fascinating buildings, sounds and first clip of the film.
Some minus for sometimes embarrasing SFXs, some scenes that seem very un-finished and also the script, which could be though a bit better.

It was worth the rent money, indeed!
I am going to buy this when it comes out.
(And p.s. the wife would be a lot hotter if she just kept it shut ;D)

Saw V http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1132626/

Yeiii!
Back to good old slaughtering and torturing!
I have liked every Saw I've seen, because they all connect the story well together.
That can also be said from the newest baby of the series.
Taking us back from the first film to last, connecting puzzles and pieces, this was really enjoyable (haha :D) movie.
As expected, SFXs are really good, and "Making of"- parts of them are interesting to watch.
I was really happy to see Tobin Bell in this one, I really like him in the role of the Eye-opener for the victims.

Minuses are that agen Strahm and detective Hoffman looked sooo similar, that first I had really hard time to tell them apart in the darkness that coulds the movie :D

I wonder where I could get the pig mask...
It's teh coolest!!

Hmm, I've only seen the first Saw, which I really liked. I'm always wary of sequels, but I'm a sucker for horror movies. Maybe I'll check out the other Saws.

Hi Sarai! :)
