I'll second Sarai's thoughts on Mirrors, worth seeing but a bit flawed.
The eeeeww:iest moment must be the lady in the mirror with really strong hands... ;)

I so agree! ;)
usually you don't get that kinda feeling (flawed but worth it) from a movie, it's either watch it or don't.
Made me wonder why it was like that with it?

Mama Mia

It was a birthday gift, so I eventually had to watch it. Not even Colin Firth could save it for me. :|

Saw The Incredible Hulk last night. it was ok. nothing special. nice action scenes and robert downey jr was in it for a second or 2. nice action scenes, but your average superhero movie storyline

There's something about "spontaneous" singing that's just wrong....so wrong.

Sarai: Kiefer made up for the flaws.

I usually enjoy musicals, but this one was just...ahh...don't know how to explain it. Odd. Lame and odd. People dancing and singing around acting way too happy.

I guess that sums up most musicals tho.

Down By Law. great movie. just your standard prisoners trying to escape movie but the real greatness is in the 3 characters (tom waits and roberto benini being 2 of the 3). hilarious. ah good ol jim jarmush

Have you guys ever recommended a really great movie to your friends for over a month and yet those bastards choose that they'd prefer alien versus predator 2 over it. :D I'm pretty frustrated here.

Oh no, no nonono no no no. You got the wrong idea. What I mean here is that they choose not to even watch it even though most my friends are on a steady diet of 1-2 movies a week. I don't give a flying fuck if they don't like what I recommend and I'm certainly not expecting them to like them as much as I did.
