Saw Gojira at Sheffield Corporation last week - thoroughly good performance although, as usual, the sound techs fucked shit up - Gojira could have sounded a lot louder. Even so, possible broken wrists aside I thoroughly enjoyed the mosh-tastic gig and got a t-shirt out of it as well, so thumbs up from me

Armored Saint and Death Angel.

Both amazing bands. I was very impress with Death Angel, great selection of songs and the atmosphere of the show was great. Everyone got along really well.
Mark actually mentioned it numourous times that Melbourne was the best show he's every played. I'm sure he says that at all the shows he playes, but he truelly meant it.

He was quite taken back at how everyone got along at the show. There was no fighting, everyone got along...and he even thanked the security at the front for taking care of the fans coming over the railing. They weren't aggressive with the fans, he was quite taken back by it.

Scale the Summit 10/10 they played their new album perfectly. Its rare to hear the music with such clarity and detail in a live setting when it's that heavy.

Oh shh, Eyes of A Traitor isnt that bad. They are fun to listen to at least. Some of their songs are kind of boring but some of them are fun.

Really small venue, it was packed with 50 people, so a really intimate gig. All acoustic, they were recording too so everyone tried their best (including the audience). And generally just 3 amazing voices, great great show. Especially the bit when Danny and Anny did some Agua de Annique and Anathema songs together.

One of the best shows I've ever seen.

I've seen Dirty DC once - and would definitely see them again, they were great fun. Haven't seen High On Maiden at all, but they do play at The Brook from time to time...so maybe I will at some point! Have you seen Hayseed Dixie? Also hilarious, although Barleycorn (the singer) was touring alone last I heard.

It's ok now thanks! It's normally my neck that suffers after a gig - all that headbanging. But this time I was a bit more restrained in the head area, and a bit less restrained in the hip area. I'll find a balance one day!

Went to see Lamb of God, never actually listened to them but I wasn't paying, so why not! God Forbid, Municipal Waste, Children of Bodom, and Suicidal Tendencies opened, kind of ridiculous.

God Forbid was alright I guess, but Municipal Waste was so terrible they now are my favorite band. The lead dude would be like "This is a song about a SHARK!" and then they would go into the worst thing ever (about a shark), but they sucked so hard it was amazing!

Children of Bodom was really fucking boring, it would just be like "blah blah keyboard part generic guitar riff crappy screaming shitty guitar solo repeat" for like an hour and everyone was fapping to it. And the lead dude was pretencious as FUCK, if his ego were a star it would be fucking VY Canis Majoris. I really hate them.

Suicidal Tendencies was AWESOME, They just got onstage and rapped about shit and soloed the whole time, which I though was really cool. They REALLY seem to like their band name though, I don't really think it's that clever. "Suicidal Tentacles" would be way better. At one point I shouted "I JUST CAME EIGHT TIMES, MY PENIS IS AN OCTOPUS!" it was really awkward.

Lamb of God kicked mountains of ass, I didn't know anything of theirs, but now I like them enough to download an album or two off the internet! Randy Blithe is a fucking AMAZING singer, holy balls. They had this big elaborate stage set up with ramps and shit and their album cover behind them, it was pretty cool.
