I'm pretty sure they already announced it, and it will probably top Dark Knight.

Doomsday.

Dearie me. I saw it described as a 'Splatfest' which it was indeed. Fairly dreadful but at the same time an almost glorious yahoo adrenaline rush. It was a random conglomeration of Mad Max and Escape from New York meets Robert the Bruce in Post-28 days later Scotland. With some amusingly placed 80s music. Crazy!

I think that Neil Marshall had bit too much money for this one :D Compared to Descent or Dog Soldiers, they are (or seem to be) relatively low budget movies and still very effective (Descent was downright scary when i saw it first time). There really is everything cramped in Doomsday, still pretty amusing hang over movie

Sauna was last movie i saw, Finnish horror movie. It was different, eerie mood and some pretty good acting from Ville Virtanen. Can't really say was it good or bad, something else.

The Visitor. Absolutely brilliant film overall. Very happy and sad, very human, very real. Liked it a whole hell of a lot and would definitely recommend people check it out. Richard Jenkins is da man!

Aside from Hellraiser, my favourite thing Clive Barker has written is his novel "Hellbound Heart". I was so sick of Leechy's little brother reading Darren Chan rubbish instead of delicious Lovecraftian fantasy that I bought him it for Christmas, on a whim. In retrospect, he's only thirteen; maybe it's a bit soon to start reading horrors like that. Maybe I should've gotten him some Kafka.

I just watched Equilibrium again. They should really just have named it 19842100.

lmao im a diehard fan, so I HAD to see Dragon Ball Evolution. What a stinking pile of laughs! Please don't see this movie. That way Fox doesn't make another abomination and maybe next time Hollywood will actually listen to the fans!

me too...I watched a CB special on the Midnight Meat Train Blu-Ray and he was at the movie set too so I guess he was also involved in making the movie. Speaking of him, he doesn't look and sound good at all, at least not in that special. Wonder what's up with him...oh and if you watch that movie, prepare to see some of the most extreme gore you have seen so far, heh.

also, last night I watched the movie 'Eden Lake'. Very intense horror/thriller movie with one hell of a depressing ending. But it's a very good movie too.

Hmm. Well, he is 56 now. I'm used to seeing photos of a younger Clive everywhere, and his pic on Wikipedia is from 2007...wasn't prepared for that. Not that he looks horrible, just older.

I don't remember that particular short story at all. If I've read it, it would've been back in the 80's.
