Also locusts aren't a native UK species, Alucard. :P Just the humble grasshoppers and crickets here.

Whut? :shock: Pfft. Open your eyes young man! We have very many beautifully coloured creatures. They aren't all that huge though.

The nature of Australia etc. is so amazing compared to ours though.

Ever seen a kingfisher? They are amazing. :D

Woodpeckers are pretty cool too though. And badgers!
Ooh and slow worms. Crazy little things, but they are awesome.

I'm yet to come across a grass snake or an adder yet though...
