Yes it is! It is a little frustrating from time to time though, but the first few hours of it are amazing.

Dark Athena is better than I thought it would be, the graphics are much better than in Butcher Bay. The shooting has also improved...I just dont like how you have to shoot so much =/

Oh also, The Orange Box is 66% off on Steam this weekend: $9.99 for Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode One, Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Portal and Team Fortress 2.

You will not find this kind of deal ever again.

i am still obsessed with Loco Roco 2 at the moment. there is something scarily addictive about that game
i went into a strange game coma and woke up, realizing i had ordered the soundtrack for the game. now even when im not playing it, i can still get annoyed at the music the little blobs sing :chain:

Used to be into gaming a lot back in the day, now I sold my xbox to help pay my guitar and buy Terria \o/. Anyways, I really recommend Half Life 1 and The Orange Box, great games. Oh and STALKER for the PC, great game too, very athmospheric. My favorite game of all time has to be System Shock 2 tho, one of the most scariest games ever concieved, but it's not scary like stuff suddenly jumping out, it's the claustrophobic nature of it, you should all give it a try.

I am enjoying the hell out of Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2. The voice acting is appalling, and there is nothing to brag about graphically, but I can seriously play this game for hours and not get bored. Good ol' hack 'n' slash.

STALKER is by far one of the most original games conceived in the past few years. (even though it's actually approaching almost 10 years in age! haha)

Butcher Bay is great. I missed it the first time around, so to play an upgraded version is awesome.

AMK mod 2.0 is in production, with alpha maps added. Which is great, since AMK 1.4 made the game about 65% awesomer, gotta love modding community.

They say next Stalker will be running on CryEngine2. Imagine, Crysis looks and physics with Stalker's atmosphere. Awesome overload, I'd buy new graphics card only to play that.

I'd buy a new vid card for that...absolutely. I actually really like the way STALKER looks now, but by the next one they will need a better engine. I hope they keep a lot of the X-ray engine aspects though.
