Edit: Back on topic, yesterday a few friends and I were walking past the YMCA, and there was a group of mentally handicapped kids listening to the radio. All of a sudden "We Are Family" comes on, and one of them goes nuts and starts dancing. We all joined him. It was beautiful.

As for guns, don't give them only to the institutions (police/military/etc.) because you'll sorely regret it in times of "crisis." But make them harder to get than they are in the states (too late for us!).

And don't encourage everyone to waste so much time engineering better weapons when they could be engineering better means of harnessing energy and a higher standard of living. In other words, don't give companies a reason for gun manufacture to be profitable in the private sector. It's an unrealistic goal, though, since people are just animals.

My WTF is more of an un-awesome. I got a $97.00 ticket for walking "against a light," though the all-seeing light told me it was okay to fare the oh-so-dangerous intersection for a few seconds more. Fuck that.

My Dad's a shoe repairer, k? And today he was working away when a woman dropped in her boots to be re-heeled. So he did the usual thing and went to mount them on the rack but it wouldn't go on, something in the toe was jamming it from going on. So he put his hand in to try flatten or take out whatever was blocking it, and it turns out the woman had been using her thongs to pad out the front of her shoes, and had forgotten to take them out before going to get them repaired. Oh how I did laugh and wtf'd at the stupidity of it all...

Ugh, I hate guns and I don't think I've ever felt the need to have one. Yes, I have fired one and I did not like it all.

That being said, I don't necessarily believe in gun control. I live in the Midwest where it's pretty much a part of the culture here and a lot of my friends have guns and are responsible about it. I think the problem with the US isn't the amount of people with guns (Canada has the same amount of people w/ guns I believe..could be wrong) it's the mindset that some people get in who have weapons. Some people think it's ok to open fire on people you don't agree with or if something bad happens in your life. I don't know what causes that, but it's definitely what needs to be changed.

I'm not sure if this is a true WTF moment, but I feel this is the right place.

Went to pee today, stood at the urinal got about half way through, when I felt someone staring at me. I look left, I look right, and this guy is just standing there, in the corner cubicle, eyes locked on my stream, hands behind his back, blatantly not going himself.

It stopped me mid-stream. >_<

Some people think it's ok to open fire on people you don't agree with or if something bad happens in your life. I don't know what causes that, but it's definitely what needs to be changed.
