Shenmue was amazing when it came out. I'm glad I still have it. I also have the second one for Xbox but never really played it =/

Now playing Splinter Cell Double Agent in preparation for the imminent release of Conviction. And I bought God Of War Chains of Olympus for PSP while I was at it. Both used, so it came to just under 30 dollars :D

Shenmue is pretty timeless as far as I'm concerned. The second one was rushed and not as good, but it has it's pros. Expect to WTF at the end of it, though if you decide to play it.

Is God Of War any good on the PSP? I remember when the PSP first came out it was atrocious.

The updates to the firmware on the PSP have done wonders. The internet browser is very easy to use and fairly fast on a decent wireless connection. The addition of the PS store really gives you more to do, especially with the PS1 classics available for purchase(waiting for the Resident Evil games...still)

I also just recently traded my first run PSP in for one of the new 3000 series. What a difference. The thing weighs so much less, the screen is so much more vibrant and it has a built in microphone now for use with Skype. The thing is amazing in my opinion, if it had the amount of games the DS did, it would surely out do it.

Also I havent tried GoW yet lol...

So 3D Realms shut down. Duke Nukem Forever is forever vaporware.

Me and Zyprexa used to always play BOOM on her Mac a few years ago. I really miss it. :(

I mean look at him! What a legend.

And also Power Pete! Can't find that game anywhere. Sad times.

It sucks, yes. But supposedly Take-Two still owns the publishing rights, but 3D Realms still owns the rights to the name...so if they want, Take-Two could end up hiring on some of the 3D Realms people and finishing it...

Which will probably happen, considering it's one of the most fan requested games ever, and that means $$$.

Hopefully like Shenmue 3.

As awesome as a Shenmue 3 would be, we have a better chance of Duke Nukem Forever coming out...Which is really sad.

Power Pete! "Free dude!" I miss that too. My son used to play it when he was wee. I think it still lingers on one of my old Macs that runs System 8.

:o Can I has?? I'd actually go to Scotland for Power Pete. He was that fucking cool. They repackaged him as Mighty Mike and re-released in 2001 on Mac OS 9 and some Mac OS X systems. Why must they bastardise greatness.

Somehow Fallout 3 has dicked me in a way I didnt think was possible. For some odd reason, I have no alien blaster ammo anymore. I had over 200 rounds for it, and it just suddenly vanished. I never, ever drop ammo because it doesnt weigh anything on your character. This seriously pisses me off because it was not easy to get over 200 rounds for that thing!

Ever notice in video games that electric attacks are usually called "Thunder", even though that's the sound element of it?
