I would bet a large sum of money to wager that nobody is going to care but: Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I HAVE POKEMON PLATINUM! I'm shitting bricks, I don't want to go play it because I know I won't be able to stop playing it all night if I start... but I don't caaare... Ok I'm going to go now.

Out of curiosity, am I the only person who isn't under ten who actually still enjoys the Pokemon games? That fucking franchise has me hook, line and sinker. Seriously, they could release a Pokemon Rock Paper or Scissors edition and I'd probably still get my hands on them.

Is it just me, or does it seem like all Valve games as of recent go really slim on the weapon selection? See: HL2, episodes 1 and 2, Left 4 Dead.

Left 4 Dead 2 is exciting news--almost makes me want to buy a 360! It looks like a mess (no pun intended) of fun. Too bad I don't have the cash for that...

Anyway, the new MGS was announced today--it's called Metal Gear Solid: Rising and it stars Raiden. So far, it's only been announced for the 360, but I'm guessing it'll be announced for the PS3 at Sony's E3 press conference tomorrow. It's early, but I don't know about the quality of the game. In place of where it says "tactical espionage action" on the other games, it now says "lightning bolt action." So much for the sneaking MGS we know and love (?).

oh no...I smell another Devil May Cry/Ninja Gaiden clone. UGH! Come on, Kojima...you can't fuck up now!!!

and L4D2 sounds nice...but considering that there will be another L4D this year already, it seems a bit like a rip-off. I mean L4D was awesome but it was way too short and I doubt there will be new maps for it anymore now. And I'm pretty sure L4D2 will be a full price game too and I somehow think it will be too short as well. Screw you for that, Valve. But guess who'll be stupid enough to buy it anyways? Me! So screw me for that!

Also, doesn't it suck that Super Castlevania IV and Dracula X/Vampire's kiss are censored everywhere except in Japan? Yeah, it does suck! Not that anyone cares. Well, except AlucardXIX maybe.

Wah wah, Fanboyism gets you know where. If they spread to more consoles, they get more money. Don't argue with economy.

In regards to the lack of weapons - It makes sense in Left 4 Dead, I think? Who leaves a M-16 lying around, anyway? Although this new one has three new weapons, and special ammo, and melee weapons. (As far as I know, a bat of some descritpion, a chainsaw, and a frying pan. FRYING. PAN.) Pretty psyched.

Well I don't have a PS, I have an Xbox, but since it's MGS I think they should make it for PS3 first then proceed to the other consoles and systems later.

Well all I know is Splinter Cell Conviction is already in the running for "Game of the Year"

Left 4 Dead 2 better be as gory as the trailer

Alan Wake looks pretty damn sweet too actually. And I'm actually a bit excited about all the Halo stuff. Just a bit though.

L4D2 announcement raged me hard. As a Valve fan I am not going to pay full price for what is essentially a rehash of a game that will just about be a year old by the time this is released. sghjfadkfhgafkasgdasghska where is episode 3

If you want co-op with zombies and melee weapons just get Killing Floor instead, you'll save more too.

Well, it's probably being made for both systems simultaneously, but the Microsoft press release was today. The Sony conference isn't until tomorrow--either way, if it's pure action and Raiden at the center, the only thing that will make me play it will be my addiction to the rest of the series.

As for games announced so far, I own a Wii (you can't win 'em all), so I'm looking forward to tomorrow. But also, The Conduit looks pretty cool, in a sci-fi shoot-'em-up sort of way. Someday, I might have to get a "real" game system, once I don't live with two friends that have a PS3 and a 360.

I have a feeling the Raiden game will be a mix of Hack n Slash ninja style with stealth in the mix. Will be interesting to see. Kojima has yet to disappoint me.

More awesome E3 news! Crysis 2 will in fact be on consoles as well as PC! This is amazing. I cant wait for some of my XBL friends to experience Crysis. And this time I wont have to force my PC to overwork itself to play the game :D

In line with Alucard's earlier post, the new installment in Splinter Cell looks a hell of a lot better than the one I had on Gamecube.
