hard to say...I only played the RF demo which was cool, but so far I had more fun playing Prototype. Maybe you should rent both before you make any decision?
Installed Prototype today, and haven't been able to put it down since, is awesome! The only downside was one of the first missions where you're inside a tiny room with 154952 hunters up in your fucking face.

Mirror's Edge 2 is official!
Sweet, good to hear. I finally got around to finishing the first game about a week or two ago. Hopefully they throw in some new moves, locales, and storyline elements, seeing as how they have lots of room for improvement.

yeah, that one was badass! But I agree...the game kicks ass. Played it again for several hours today and it's fun. Just going totally berzerk is awesome!
Yea I might pick Prototype up one day soon. Looks like a GTA Demon mod haha. Looks like a lot of fun, sucks I have to beat 2 other open world games first...
Hell yea. I hope the next 2 games (yes they did say Trilogy in that link) are a lot more story driven. I loved the story in the first game, it had its holes and they really didnt go into detail with much, but I definitely dug the story it had. I'd like to see a lot more open ended-ness in this next Mirror's Edge and they said something about a level editor which could mean some kind of multiplayer element...

I love Fallout 3. Its just so funny to roam the wasteland and looting and stealing and killing and stuff like that. So cool! But the coolest thing is that I can drink from the toilets in game. If I could piss on people like in Postal 2 and it woulnd't be so buggy it would be the best game on earth.. maybe.
Currently playing through Call Of Juarez, since its successor is supposed to come out in 2 weeks.
I think I have a new-found love for spaghetti-western games. I really enjoyed GUN as well, and I have high hopes for Red Dead Redemption.

Yeah Gun was fun, but a bit short. Even I finished it in a couple of hours.

yup, Gun was fun, short but fun. I think Red Dead Redemption will kick ass. It looks so awesome and I'm sure it'll be just as fun as GTA4...just with a different setting. And I'll definitely get Call of Juarez 2, really enjoyed the first one and the new one looks way better.
and I officially LOVE Prototype. After 8 hours of playing it I can say it's tons of fun. Pretty mindless fun but it's awesome. Those mutant powers are just so much fun to play with. And there's so many victims to test them on
And actually, even if the story ain't the greatest ever and not told very well, the story missions have been quite fun so far. They haven't been too repetitive. So yeah, tis kicks ass!

I wanted to buy Prototype also but then I realized that the graphics are not really what I think of a game should have on xbox360/ps3.
It looks like a game on the ps2. There is certainly so less story that it's actually unnecessary. The brutality and devastation is quite fun but I guess I'd stick with InFamous.
Does anyone here is looking forward to buying Assassin's Creed II or God of War III?

Both AC2 and GoW3 will be amazing. Cannot wait to play both.

I think the graphics are pretty good for an open world game like that, especially considering that there's basically no loading screen within the open world, except before you start a mission. And you have to keep in mind how much is going on, all the chaos, tons of explosions, tons of enemies and civilians and the framerate stays in pretty good shape. I don't think that would have been possible with Assassin's Creed-type of graphics.
Yeah that's true. I guess I have not really figured it out like that.
Nonetheless ACII and GOWIII will fucking pwn.
Has anyone watched the gameplay vids from GODIII?
If not I highly recommend to do so: http://www.gametrailers.com/game/god-of-war-iii/3455
