On another note, it seems a bit ridiculous to kick someone out of a sandwich shop, of all places, just because he's stoned. Unless he's being obnoxious and disruptive, why not let him get his sandwich? The swing is another ordeal entirely--totally unacceptable.

Yet another reason to not live in Australia!

This is more of a "Holy shit!" incident than a "WTF!?", but anyway... Driving to work today along the dual carriageway, I was doing about 120kmh (75mph) just going along, and a car passed me out, must've been doing about 140kmh or 150kmh. Nothing unusual there, but they had a back window open, and there was a dog in the back window, and the dog went to put himself out of the window, and the dog obviously foolishly misjudged the speed of the car and how much of itself to put out of the window. So then the dog flew out of the window. And then the dog rolled underneath an enormous Dutch flower truck. The disintegration and bloody mess was a sight to behold.

I would definitely feel remorse for the dog and its family.... but I am not fond of dogs.
