It was kinda strange, but pretty cool. He seems to be a decent guy. He says he still talks to all the people we used to hang with - I couldn't even remember who some of them were

I love cars. Wish I knew a little more about them. Hybrid vehicles are all the rave now because of environmentalism and such. But they still use fossil fuel and have emissions.

Yeah, I'd have to say there are very few American cars I like--and those I do like tend to be fun to drive, but nothing I'd want to own.

Anyway, hybrid vehicles reduce emissions enough to keep the hippies happy (does that include me?), but it's more of a side step than a push forward to cheap, clean fuel and a vehicle to run on it. My absolute favorite part about electric cars is that you have to charge them, presumably from a wall socket. Where does the electricity that goes through the wall socket come from? Coal plants. And what do they do? Oh, right: pollute. Honestly, the Honda FCX Clarity is a neat piece of work (in concept, at least)--and Honda has in the works a sportier FC vehicle, albeit ugly as fuck. No argument here. It's tough to compete with moguls that have very loosely bounded resources/power and a strong foothold in the fact that they're the norm. I'll be glad if/when FC cars gain more prominence and turn gasoline into something you only use for your joyrides.

In my opinion hydrogen power really is the future for a fuel source.

Electric still requires(in most places) coal consumption. Nuclear power for a car is far too risky and in the end would be horribly expensive due to the containment of the nuclear material.

Just my opinion. (Though nuclear would be insanely efficient the potential risk isnt worth it.)
