Microsoft.

FUCK YOU!

360 has died, for a second time. 3 red lights. It all started re-happening a few weeks ago, but we did some things and it started working again (like, leaving it switched on for 20 minutes covered in towels... kinda strange)

But I think its just dead now, and obviously, outside the warranty.

What an amazing, funfilling, piece of SHIT product.

A demo for Batman Arkham Asylum is out on the Xbox live marketplace. Just from that short time I can tell the game will be awesome.

Very cool man. I'm actually majoring in music comp. in order to do video game composition, but I work on SFX as well to have a fallback. Here's to a long career in the business!

I feel your pain, brother.

My 360 died a painful death about 12 months ago. Just as I was completely immersed in GTAIV. :furious: I also went through the whole wrapped-in-a-towel thing, which bizarrely does work for a while until you think "this is just too much bullshit and hassle" or it dies all together. I will NOT be buying another Microsofty Xboxy product until I'm absolutely convinced that it will last the distance in a Super Nintendo kind of way. You could just about drive over those things with a bus and they'd still let you play Super Mario World without so much as a pause for thought.

PS Still digging Fallout 3 with my limited gaming time. Superb game. Gotta get back to The Witcher once I finish Fallout 3 and the DLC. That game was sweet. Think I need a new PC though, to get the most out of it. Laptop keeps overheating. Stupid technology.

Beat Gears of War 2 on Insane last night. Quite a fun challenge for those who haven't finished it on insane. There are some parts that may drive you insane though...

Next up is to finish Rainbow Six Vegas 2 on realistic. Nothin like playin games on their hardest settings! Haha

Yeah, that's when it starts to be both frustrating and extremely entertaining. Did I mentioned I did a Big Boss run of MGS4 a few weeks ago? That was pretty intense.

Damn you got a Big Boss rating in MGS4?! Fuckin kudos man...I dont even know if I have the patience to do something like that, as much as I'd like to.

But yea, playing games on their hardest setting is a whole different adventure. I remember finishing Resident Evil 5 on it's hardest setting, where you die in one hit. I dont think I'll ever do that again...Or a Gears 2 run on Insane! lol

Do the "Little Rocket Man" achievement in HL2 ep2. Fun and frustrating. But you will find it hard to let that little guy go when the time comes.

Played through Bioshock again. The next one doesn't come out for another seven months or so, but this game is too much fun to not play. ^_^

This may be healthy bit of silly fun:

Travelling in time and blasting the Roman legionnaires with a gun described as "high speed violation of geneva convention" and stuff. Demo is available - short and entertaining, even if engine looks dated at places.

I have just got through Silent Hill: Homecoming.
It was great.
And I played well.
I was amazing.

The need to quickly peek at walkthrough help came quite early, since I felt like
I need to play it as well as possible, so I wouldn't make any major mistakes.
That thought was quickly thrown away, because the story kept me going so well.
Only the puzzles (medium lvl) were so tricky that I couldn't solve them all without
help.

I think there is like 6 different endings, and I have to say that the one I got, was a
total suprise :D
And I immediately started to play it through again, now completely with guide, to find all
the secret stuff.

A really great game, one of the best SH's I've played.

Plus:
- nice mix of new and old monsters
- gameplay
- nice game graphiX
- teh Moood
- sounds
- story
- soundtrack

Minus:
- puzzles (too hard)
- in game-video graphics (not that big deal to me, story made up for it, but someone might mind it)
- felt like a short game (~32 h)
- bosses (too easy)
- makes you lose sleep, because you have to stay up all night just to play :D

I give it Gazillion plus! :D
