Really?! Everything I've heard about the new Silent Hill was that it was bad and strayed from the old style too much. Focused too much on combat.

But oh well, I havent played a Silent Hill since the first one.

The fact that it has a 120 GB hard drive, no more dust-friendly gloss shell, a smaller size, all the other odds-and-ends, and the fact that its only going to cost $300 is simply amazing.

As much as I love my 360, I've always said PS3 would come out on top one day.

It's already almost met the 360 in sales. Some developers (id specifically) have even touted that they prefer the PS3 due to the amount of memory available on a single disc. Their new game Rage is said to be up to 3 DVDs for 360 but only 1 Blu ray for PS3. And they said Doom 4 could be up to 4 DVDs for 360.

Fans of Mega Man 9 and aspiring Swedish guitar/keyboard players look hither:

Be sure to check out his take on Concrete Man's theme at 6:25.

(Figured this would be more appropriate here rather than the youtube thread. Or maybe I'm just crazy.)

got me some MS points that I will use to buy 'Shadow Complex'...totally reminds me of Super Metroid so it'll rule. And tomorrow I'll pick up Wolfenstein!

I might get Wolfenstein. But Batman: Arkham Asylum comes out next Tuesday and that game is going to be amazing!

Ahh yeah, I've heard about the ps3 slim. VERY tempting, but all the games I want are on the 360 and the multiplatform games work better on the 360

Rage will be running at 60fps on the 360, and 20-30 on the ps3 :S
which I think is an achievement in itself

@Alucard. The Game will be split into 2 disks, one disk having the Campaign and the other will have the multiplayer section of the game.

As for Silent Hill, homecoming WAS good, but it focused TOO much on the movie! I mean, why was there a Pyramid head? :S

the newest one, Shattered memories is supposed to have a Psychological test in the beginning to see what freaks you out the most and use that to scare the shit out of you :) Can't Wait! :D

well, Wolfenstein is awesome...to me anyways. Mindless Nazi-grinding fun...the Nazi propaganda posters are pretty cute with pretty bad typos and partly bad grammar, hehe...but they are cute anyways. Oh and I spotted German 100 Deutsche Mark bills on a table...those didn't really exist back then during WWII either, hehe. The reviews for Wolfenstein weren't necessarily good but I disagree with them. It's fun!

Oh and Shadow Complex rules too...the gameplay really is like the gameplay in Super Metroid with very few differences so all you retro lovers should get it.

And I'll definitely get that Batman game too, the demo kicked ass and the reviews are all quite positive, to say the least.

The demo sold me. I wanted it for a while, but the demo really made me want it.

Still considering Wolfenstein, but maybe during a slump where nothing good is coming out.

Lost Planet 2 demo. Is is very, very fun. Running inside a giant salamander thing, shooting it's dingly-dangly bits, and then getting shat out has never been more fun.

Tales of Monkey Island, chapter 2: The Siege of Spinner Cay.

Played it, finished it. Fun, like the first chapter. Looking forward to chapters 3 to 5.

Just finished Batman: Arkham Asylum for the second time, on the hardest difficulty though. Definitely a step up from medium difficulty I can say that much. I even got my 40 combo achievement this time around.

Now to get the 100% achievement :|
