I left Atlanta just in time.

Last night there was a major flood warning issued, stormed worse than I'd ever seen all night too. Got up early and got my stuff together and left. Got home hours later and found out that basically everywhere we were over the weekend is underwater or at risk of being underwater.

Glad I got out when I did.

New Nile album is not going to have George Kollias on drums. Some guy by the name of Erik Rutan is doing drums. I guess he played for Cannibal Corpse and Goatwhore before, so it may be worse on the drum side, but maybe better.

Yeah he's just recording them. He's got his own studio now I think... where he recorded his last album with Hate Eternal. Personally... I wasn't particularly excited at hearing they were being recorded there, cus I don't really like the sound on Fury & the Flames, but I suppose the drum production on there was "Hate Eternals" classic kinda sound. With the Nile guys in there I'm they'll have said what they do and don't like. I've heard sudden amazing production out of previously-not-impressive studios before, so I'm sure it'll sound fine. Gonna pre-order the new album soon
