I bought the Orange Box a good few months back and never really tucked into it. Twice played the first level or two of Portal but usually left it too late in the night to continue on. Today, however, I sat down and ran through the whole thing, and my fucking god that game is so awesome it shouldn't even be allowed.

Are you playing on 360 or PC? TF2 on 360 is worthless, completely outdated in terms of support and fixes, and dead in terms of playerbase. PC TF2 is excellent though.

I was attempting to play on PS3 but every time I try it doesn't connect to a server so I don't bother. To be honest I usually hate FPS games and I was only gonna play cos I was too lazy to get off my beanbag to change the disc in the PS3. I only bought the Orange Box for Portal.

It's probably even worse on PS3, Valve really don't like that machine. It's not a good console game at all really, but Portal is indeed worth your money. HL2 series should be alright on console too I guess.

In other news I want APB. It'll basically be a GTA MMO but that's no bad thing.

Basically 100 player cops and robbers online at the same time. It's out on PC next year and then consoles some time after.

Except in an overhead view in a confined arena with zombies that become a hundred times more hazardous than any of the special zombies in Left 4 Dead.

I suggest the trial game first. It kind of plays out like the old game "Loaded" on PS1
