Talk about whatever you want to here, but stay correct

I recently remembered I hadn't received one of the copy's of Ki that I pre-ordered (I got 3, 2 for friends) (Yes... took me a while to realise, lol)... so I emailed HDR and Tracy replied saying she can refund the money for me...

...But now I feel bad. I'm not sure whether to reply just saying "You know what? Keep it! :D" lol... £12 aint gonna harm me, especially knowing it went into the hands of Dev and co.

What would you do?

I think I would do the same; ask the forums :D
Considering the amount of money, not that big, I would say sumting liek:
"Hey waddap Trace, just keep the green bills and use it for something heavenly. I will not bankrupt myself if I don't get it back. Just get some good tea for Dev with it, and I'll wait for the results. Thanks and peace out!"

Hope that helpses.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I'd probably do the same thing, although I'm a bit of a cheapskate, people out there are downloading it for free anyway so they kinda deserve the ickle bit of dinero!

I've just let go the mods on a band forum I admin, two of them hadn't posted for nearly three months, and one of them would only post to bicker with new people, and now they're getting all ragey with me. I've always been under the impression that if you're a mod on a forum you represent the band, and should be like, nice to people and helpful? It's not just a status to show you're "in" with the band...anyways, I've recruited two new ones, and they're absolutely crapping themselves with joy, and the band don't give three shits what I get up to, so everything's gravy.

And I have uni tomorrow! YAAAY.

I've always thought of the mods on a forum being somewhat unrelated to the subject of the forum and just being the more trustworthy users.
Also fuck my leg fuck fuck oh God I think a friend of mine cast some sort of gypsy curse to transfer all of his pain into my right thigh. Either that or I'm having delusions about being House, it's not like I did anything extrenuous yesterday.

Thanks! Unlike some people who cheat the system just to get some birthday wishes sent their way, today IS my birthday. So far I've had breakfast with cake, coffee with cake and just now lunch with cake. 'Tis a good day. :D

And no, that's not the profanity filter you're seeing.

Well, the new mods are a medical student and an English Lit student, they have nothing to do with the band other than being massive fans. The other mods were too, but just used it as an excuse to show off and wave the cock of authority when they fancied kicking up a stir. They're having a go at me cause of it, but I'm like...I made you mod, if you're not gonna do your job I'll give it to someone else.

I'm in uni at the mo on one of the crappy library computers cause the network doesn't appear to like my Archos, and the creepy wigger guy is toooo close...

Ive got a younger bro, he's 10 years old... Im usually stressed out / feeling crap and often he "gets in the way" so im generally not nice to him, but since this whole bullshit breakup thing ive been going through, ive been appreciating the people i have around me a bit more.

Anyway, i've been playing on COD4 on Xbox live with him quite a bit, taking in turns... chatting. I even got onto the topic of careers, and got a uni prospectus out showing him all the different courses... haha, cus he was interested.

But anyway, today it was on the subject of music.

His music taste is very odd. In fact, he doesn't have one, he just likes or doesn't like songs/bands.

But he didn't understand Prog music at all. I was playing Planet X quite a bit, and he thought it sounded like random crap. Kinda funny...

He likes Nightwish the most (out of the little he's heard)...

He doesn't like "roary" vocals as he calls them... he thinks they sound like people pretending to be Gorillas on stage.
But he likes Turisas... hypocrit

But yeah, he's young, its understandable that the only music he'll like is catchy simple melodic stuff... hopefully one day he'll appreciate a bit of Nile here and there... throw in some 'Shuggah and air drum along with the polyrhymthic sensations... lol, who knows?

Im hoping to guide him into an Open minded, but mainly metal, fan... with a love/respect for orchestral/ambient etc. also

You are stealing my life!!! LOL The same is happening with me and my brother. I just cannot stand that he claims to be a big fan of Nightwish when he only listened a few songs (all of them bad) and is with the cell phone with the shitty song The Islander all day long. The only difference with your brother is that mine is 16 ys old. And is the only band of all that he listen ( Oh and Dragonhoax) The only band we share is Deathstars but only a bit.
