Talk about whatever you want to here, but stay correct

That. Which is in itself un-awesome.

Also the concept of tl;dr irritates me. And it's all over every forum or anything where comments can be passed on blocks of text on the net. I don't see the need to comment on it. If you have an interest in the topic you'd read it, and if you don't, just scroll past it all. It's hardly a staggering amount of effort.

Who'll be the first witty person to be in with "tl;dr"...

tl;dr = Shut the fuck up about tl;dr.

hihi

So much frustration on the forums lately.

"POEPLES ARE STOOPID!1"

"POEPLES DONT NEED TO READ MAH POASTS!1"

I think we should all just let it go, and be all friendly again because this place is much better without the frustration.

Oh ha ha I see what you did thar. Funnay stuffs.

It's also great when someone the same age as me makes constant posts about how he looks down on the world around him from his peak of human existence.

I'm sorry that might offend people here. Let me reword that:

I hate when people in general, around my age, constantly talk down about the world around them as if they are on a higher plane of existence just because they are in college/have a degree/whatever they think entitles them to it. Because all of us 19-21 year old's most definitely know how to make a Utopian society from our "ideas".

I'll do my best not to invoke tl;dr.

College is worthless in this respect--do you think I'm a political sciences major? Nope. Physics. I can tell you why some things happen the way they do, but I can't speak to first causes, etc. I can make physical predictions but little more. I'm not a prophet, and almost nothing I say has any real meaning (same goes for you). Honestly, nothing I ever do in my life will ever have any sort of real impact on the world in which I live, except for that which acts on those immediately surrounding me. I don't think I'm better than you, or anyone else, for that matter. We're all just apes.

I hate insecurity. We've all got it. Yours is showing a bit. Just chill. Nothing is serious and nothing is sacred on the internet. Nothing. :D

I'm just going out of my way to express an opinion. Call it insecurity if you want, and I get the thoughts of "the world is stupid" from time to time only to remember the great things we have going for us at this point in time and the fact that things can get better than they are...with time of course.

I've never tried to say, nor will I say with any amount of seriousness that I am better than anyone else, especially over the fucking internet of all things. Though my post was aimed at you to some degree, it's also aimed at others I know in person who constantly talk about how the world sucks, everyone is stupid except for them, and they could do X job better than Y person.

We're all entitled to our opinions, and I try my best to accept everyone's as their own, regardless of how much I may agree or disagree with it.

People who think like that at your age need a slap upside the head.

That's the remit of people my age.

I'm glad you understand my frustration!

Too many generalizations and assumptions in this whole conversation. Suffice it to say that none of us is extremist enough to say that things are all bad or all good. Everyone looks down on things. Everyone disagrees and fails to see the credence lent to others' opinions. The future is both bright and dim, and there are times when we all see one or another side of it. It's all relative, and we're all stupid (and brilliant!).

The point is that this argument is a product of the stupidity of humans in thinking that they are intelligent. We're doomed to go in circles if we keep bitching at one another. Seems to me that Dev beats this point to death also. Speaking of which...who's ready for Addicted?

I kept it general because I didnt want to pinpoint any one person or group of people.

And yes, very very ready for Addicted!
