T-mobile can now be filed under "epic fail". Turns out the servers they use to backup data for the Sidekick phones have all died. They lost everyone's data and are telling people to not turn off their phone or remove their battery or they can lose all of the information stored on their phone.

Epic. Fucking. Fail.

Definitely not going to get another sidekick when my contract runs out, that's complete bullshit that they cant keep their servers operating correctly.

Woke up to find myself locked out of my Gmail account and Steam account, can't reset my Gmail password until tomorrow, hopefully I'll be able to.

Yeah... when I googled finger lengthening I don't know what I was expecting... I remember hearing a story a couple of years ago about a girl who was a couple of centimeters under the minimum height to be an air hostess and the did a procedure where they broke her legs and then stretched them a little and set them to heal... seemed like a long way to go to get a job.

I've only had it for two years and it was a very nice Samsung U600 >:( It reboots sometimes mid-phonecall, and freezes occasionally after sending texts, both things I can live with, but now the big button in the middle that does everything has given up the ghost. Ballsacks.

I'm thinking of getting a Blackberry (according to my O2 upgrades, theres two available, but one's hilariously over my budget), can anyone vouch for these or any of the O2 phones? First one who suggests an iPhone can go fuck a tree.

I just got a Blackberry Curve, lettuce.

It seems fine so far. Does all the stuff I ask of it (phone, text, email, camera) fairly straightforwardly, and lots more stuff I haven't been arsed to work out yet.

Just got the wonderful news from England that my uncle/godfather has had a stroke. Right side stroke, so he has left side paralysis, currently can't see and nurses said he currently can't really remember anything clearly from any time recently. He's talking away anyway at least so that's a positive. Still though. Not the greatest news to get on a Monday morning.
