I saw it got a 9.0 on IGN. Is it actually a 100% piss take of metal? Cos if it is that's cool. I assumed it was going to be VRY SRS AND KVLT about the whole thing, which would've been shit.

Yea dude, it's a straight piss take from start to finish. It has its "BE SRS" moments, but everything is soaked with comedy. You fight 3 different factions that all have something to do with metal. Hair metallers, goth/emo kids, and your good old fashioned demons.

For every moment of seriousness there are more moments of "lol" to be had. This is one of the first games to literally make me laugh out loud in a long time. General Lionwhyte is one of the funniest villains in a video game in a long time.

I can tell you one thing though, it has a lot of Real Time Strategy elements so if you're not a fan of that genre...

But on the other hand they actually made the controls decent for the RTS sections.

Meh, I really enjoyed it. I'll see if I have the money as I budget for MW2 and Ass. Creed 2.
