Left 4 Dead only got boring if you burnt it out and didn't have cool people to play with, which I do.

Tripwire Interactive's Killing Floor is getting a big update this week, it's another co-op zombie game with up to 6 players. It's more repetitive than L4D but more fun too. Plays a lot different in some ways. It'll be free to play from thursday to monday on Steam, and it'll probably get a bit of a price cut too, it's really good.

For Amerikkens, Assassin's Creed is also 75% off on Steam through to thursday. That makes it $5.

Also, some awesome gaming pumpkins:

ok what are some of your guys favorite video game moments? can be naything the release of a game something funynthat happened th e day when you realised you were doomed to play games blah blah

i think one of mine would have to be when i was playing gears of war 2 with a friend of mine and Guardian. The leader in this particular round had "theGame" in his gamertag. he got downed but not out, without thinking i shouted over live to my mate "SAVE THE GAME!" Ever since then its been a running joke.

good times good times

there are several that I like to remember. Playing Contra 3/Super Probotector co-op with friends. Beating Sephiroth and taking revenge for Aeris in Final Fantasy 7. Playing Super Metroid for the very first time back when I was a kid. Playing Silent Hill 1 on the PS1 for the first time in a darkened room and actually being a little scared. Killing a colossus for the first time in Shadow of the Colossus. Playing Resident Evil 1 on the PS1 for the very first time. Playing Left 4 Dead with friends for the first time and all of us were like 'OMFG....this is what I've been waiting for all my life!!!' Playing Killzone 2 for the first time and not believing my eyes because it looked so amazing. Doing a space walk in Dead Space...
There's probably more but that's a good selection for now :D

I still think it's the most underrated game of all time, no one usually remembers it, but at the time it had some added depth and was just accessible enough to not be too easy or too hard, which was a problem other games I loved, Contra and Mega Man, had in spades. Also it was the best co-op experience ever.

Sunset Riders was pretty good too, but it had nothin' on Gunstar.

EDIT: Also waiting for games to come here from Japan. Still happens, but it's not the same year wait that we used to have.

Best video game moments, hmmm....

Beating 'The Adversary' from Death Rally for the first time was cool. Also getting a highscore over one billion points in Psycho Pinball would count, because then my brothers gave up trying to best my scores. Developing drift setups for Ubisoft's Formula 1 Racing Simulation with a friend and subsequently making ridiculously fast lap times like that. The ridiculousness of playing Carmaggedon TDR. During my time at university, playing NFS: Hot Pursuit 2 and in later years Kart Rider with half the study room.

And all GTA games, most notably the first installment and Vice City.
