It's probably one of the biggest games, if not the biggest, I've played. Almost 30 hours spent and I'm at 28% completion. And I've done 2½ main quests in a row now, skipping alot of side quests. There's no reason I'd not recommend it to anyone.

Plus I can make a dwarf bow and arrow hero. Dwarves are never the lead!

The dwarfs have some of the best origin stories, as well as some awesome lines.

"Are you a mage?"
"How could I be a mage? I'm a dwarf."
"Well you never kn-"
"I'm. A. Dwarf."

... It's probably funnier when you're playing.

Anyone else downloaded Bomberman '94 for the Wii?

I like the Wii too! There's some good games for it actually. Not just the typical casual games. I love Madworld, Dead Space, the Metroid Prime trilogy, House of the Dead Overkill, etc. Although I am afraid that the Wii's time is almost over.

only need one more achievement for Modern Warfare 2. But it will take a while to get the last remaining stars untill I got all 69 stars.

oh and Assassin's Creed 2 is pretty awesome. More awesome than I thought. But tomorrow my Left 4 Dead 2 may arrive so whether or not I'll play a lot of AC2 over the next few weeks will depend on how much I like L4D2.

Wii's great, you just don't get enough games these days to play it exclusively.

Quick question for PS3 owners... I've scored a free PS3 with my new TV and should receive it before Christmas. So my spending cash will probably go towards a game or two for it. Any absolute must-have games?

Dragon Age is fun...really enjoyed it so far and played for about 6 hours now. It may be better on PC but I can't understand all the criticism regarding the technical aspects of the game. Haven't had any probs on my 360 yet and although the graphics are not the best ever, Fable 2's graphics weren't necessarily better either, worse actually, and it's still a fun game.

as for your PS3 question. I'd definitely get Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 if I had to pick. Both are very awesome games. In my opinion anyways...

Cool, thanks for the tips. As I haven't been following the whole console scene for a little while I hadn't heard of the Uncharted games, but they look great. Will definitely be in the market for a good "serious" racer at some stage also.

I've racked up about 20 hours on Dragon Age now, and I'm pretty much hooked. It doesn't seem to be doing anything hugely groundbreaking, but it tells a really good story and I like the way your actions really seem to affect your fellow party members' attitudes towards you.

Have Arkham Asylum too, and I know it's going to be great, but I'm finding it hard to drag myself away from Dragon Age!

I bought Fallout 3: GOTY for PC today.
Now I need a decent soundcard so I can run my computer through my home theatre.

Has anyone played both PC and 360 versions? I've played it to death on my XBox, but I wanna have more control (via the console) over who lives or dies. I'm tired of having characters killed when they are still of use to me. :swear:

picked up Left 4 Dead 2 today...and I must admit...it is fun! It is similar but they did make the whole thing bigger, to me it seemed like the campaignes took longer to get through than they did in the first L4D. The melee weapons are fun. Now there's also a bigger variety of guns. More special infected zombies. The chapters are more diverse, the level design is better. So I'm pleased. For now anyways. We'll see how long the entire package is fun to play.

Waiting for No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle for the Wii.

If this gets ported to the 360/PS3 like its predecessor, then there is no longer a reason to buy the Wii.
