Wow Textures' awesome musicianship isnt enough for some people huh?

I loved their singer, but dammit if Stef left the band they would be in a worse situation in my opinion.

Fix't

Indeed.

Yeah, Textures is one hell of a band as far as the musicianship is concerned. But, the vocals added a depth and dimension so few metal bands ever achieve. Seriously. This is just wrecking my day, even though I respect his wishes to give his priorities a shift.

I'm emo'ing too, it's really shit news - it will be next to impossible to find such a good singer for them :|

Wait wait, what's this with all the people being so upset? I seem to recall that a lot of folks didn't like his vocals?

Maybe it was just Leechy again :?

Yep, that'd be me. I don't like him. Hopefully him leaving won't completely fuck up the band...

QFT.

I don't truly understand the reasoning behind NBC's supposed recovery from Leno's bomb of a show. Clearly, yes, the man does have a decent hold on the elderly viewers and I guess NBC sees that market as sort of a "sure thing" if they hold onto Leno. But the man actually called it quits a year ago, then they gave him that 10pm show that failed and now they still won't let him go even after that. Conan is definitely getting shafted by all of this, and so are his young-to-middle-aged fans...which is a more hopeful and productive market to reach out to than the elderly market. Shennanigans!

I cannot stand Jay Leno. I have never liked him and was ecstatic when he was supposidly leaving late night television. I've watched Conan in both forms since I was probably 13 and I'm sad he's leaving, but he had to water his show down for all the older people that watch the Tonight Show. His shows this past couple of weeks have been the best he's done since he's gotten it. I hope he gets a show on another network where he can go back to his Late Night format.

I feel bad for all the people that work for him that had to transplant themselves all the way across the country. Leno should have bowed out when he was suppose to and they should have given Conan more than 7 months to gain his footing on the show and get an audience.

Eh. They have connections. Signed to a label, so that right there is a huge resource to them. I'm not too worried about a new singer for them. Scar Symmetry got 2 new singers and I honestly think it added a more interesting layer to the music. Both singers bring a sound that is similar and different than Christian. So I wouldn't worry about it too much until they announce something.

People generally don't respond to change well. Alot of people hated that guy at first, and then got used to him. I personally thought he was a welcome addition, but I still would like to hear the guitarist do vocals also, like on "Ostensibly Impregnable". He has a great voice.

You're going to have to count past 10 now. That might pose a problem...
