I'm terrified.

It didn't all say "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" did it?

Un-awesome indeed. I damaged one when I was in my twenties. It was only mildly hurt but I remember it took months to heal properly. My only advice, from experience, is don't push it by doing anything heavy with it too fast. You just end up back at the start again if you do.

Good luck with it though.

Not if you both observe basic hygiene and infection control. A little hand-washing goes a long way.

No, but apparently the class decided to go with my idea for a script which is nice. The only caveat is that instead of writing about a boy who was raised by wolves, we're now writing about a girl who was raised by wolves. Which honestly, in my opinion, has much more potential for comedy. So woo-hoo!

Possibly. But then again I recovered from a flu today so that'll dramatically lower my chances.

I'm really sorry to hear that Amber. Losing a pet, regardless of the circumstance is never easy.

I just got dropped from one of my classes based on a situation that started with a death in my family. Fantastic.

Well, my mom is currently waiting all night at my Grandma's bedside, because she is on her way out, so to speak... pretty un-awesome. It looks like I'll be attending a funeral by the end of the week, and it hasn't been very nice since she's been in some pain, although they have her on morphine now since most conscious function is pretty much gone. As much as she is very old and it's her time to go, the thought of it is kind of looming over everything at this stage since she could go at any time, so it's sort of tough right now. Trying to remember the good times of my youth I spent at her house.

Also sucks that with what's going on with my Grandma, it doesn't look like me and my Dad will be able to take our Scout's out to camp this weekend, which is a shame because we had some fun stuff lined up I was looking forward too. Luckily we have enough Scout leaders right now that the kids will still be going, and its not canceled, so that's good. Would've liked to be there, but family comes first.

Aside from that, I have no idea what to do with myself at the moment since I just finished school and my work has pretty much stopped giving me shifts, save for one a week. So, I'm broke and have nowhere to be, and I'm slipping into a bit of a funk. Hopefully I can come up with something to focus my attention on soon; playing video games and drinking beer all day is going to wear thin fast, not to mention it is making me horribly unhealthy.

Yikes. I feel for you. I tend to find it is the waiting that is worse, over anything else. Just what I think of course. I know how you feel about slipping into a funk too. I'm out of college too, and trying to find work. Just try annd keep yourself busy with anything you can I find is the best way to get around it. :)

And thanks Octillus - Sorry to hear about yout family though.

Thanks Amber, this all occurred early last year, but it's bearing fruit still, so it's all the more frustrating.
