Chaotic hilarity!

Apparently the last time this thing went off it lasted a full two years, from 1821 to 1823... It's gonna make summer travel seriously interesting. Glad I got away on holidays and back the week I did!

Yep, I'd heard that report as well. Let's hope it just has a wee grumble for a few weeks and then peters out again.

It was horrible, air traffic was truly fucked, not a one commercial flight between 1821 and 1823 in Europe.

Major plothole in James Cameron's Aliens:
Ripley tries to warn the company about LV-426 due to the fact that Kane (from the first) stated he saw thousands of eggs. She mentions this on a few occasions. Not once in Alien did Kane say just how many eggs he saw; he had no memory of the eggs after he awoke from his coma; so unless in that moment between walking out of medlab and giving birth at the breakfast table (which we don't see due to the edit of the scene) he suddenly had a flashback and advised the crew, she was taking quite a lucky guess.
Just throwing that out there for those who may not have picked that up.
