In my case, I will look at pasta, I will look at chili, then I will look at that emergency packet of chocolate at the back and berate it for tempting me. My fault, of course. Drinking chili from the bottle is fun.

If I had any chocolate at all, it would be gone the first time the cupboard is opened. There's about a billion packet pastas and chicken sauces and crap in my cupboard, but apart from the spice rack that's about it. Nothing that's standalone edible.

Threat Signal are looking for a rhythm guitarist, so I'm going to try out. The bad part about this is the fact that some of the other people who are trying out are insanely good guitar players...though they seem more focused on shredding.

Good luck. Besides, they're looking for a rhythm guitarist, that's what's advertised. Who gives a shit if you can shred, that doesn't automatically make you musically talented. It's a skill for sure but if they're shredding at tryouts then they obviously are incapable of adequately doing what is actually required of them.

And I totally agree. Regardless of how ridiculous the competition is, it IS a rhythm guitar spot. I wont be doing any solos or leads in my try out vids, just the rhythm stuff. If I dont make it, oh well, at least I tried!
