So my TV just went all stupid and broke, the screen's brightness/contrast/colour ratio has asploded and is unfixable. This is the third one this year. I wish I could claim I'm all rock'n'roll and have a penchant for throwing them from my window but in all honesty, that's not true. Really. *sighs*

It's alright though, I'll take it back to work tomorrow and get it replaced or upgrade it because I can. Muahaha.

Moving into the living room. So long privacy.

The advantage of having a flat all to myself (and big enough to accomidate all my things) is that I have it all to myself, and privacy extends only to my neighbors, who leave me alone and vice versa.
The disadvantage: the rent I pay - takes near half my monthly income to cover it. Still, I'm willing to pay the price until it gets raised to a really shitty level.

Trying to find a place to live! (As living seems to be the theme.) I've recently discovered that the Uni I'm going to has a history of students who wreck where they live. (Damn hippy musicians.) So me, being a non-smoking, non-drinking, quiet, table-top gaming nerd, am having real trouble finding a place. It sucks!

A girl in one of my classes was telling me the other day that guys on campus test the strictness of their house on whether or not you can get away with pissing on other people's doors. My advice is find a small flat or something.

If you don't need to move out right away it might be worth waiting til you've started Uni, I noticed around my Uni that there are always flyers up advertising rooms for let with other students etc. And usually a selling point (well, renting point ) is that a lot of them tend to be close to Uni, so that could be a plus.

Not getting any recovery discs with my new laptop... Instead I got a lovely piece of paper telling me I need to buy DVDs or an 8GB USB to store System Recovery on. Dell DataSafe can suck my wang. Fucking pile of shite. Those OS discs probably cost sweet fuck all to make. It wouldn't kill em to keep providing them.

My job i'm working this weekend has been AWFUL. The ridicule and crap I've had to put up with is not worth it. Not to mention after having to walk across town last night I feel very sick to my stomach.

I seem to be catching a cold. Not feeling too well now.

My best friend has been in hospital this past week with chronic stomach cramps, they don't know what's wrong with her. She's having a MRI tomorrow and probably an endoscopy later. My brother has a condition which means he has to have an endoscopy every three or four years so I know more of the pain she's going to be in than she does. Plus it's her birthday in just over a week and although the doctor has given his word she'll be out in time, if they don't figure out what's wrong with her who knows how long she'll be in there.

I sent a USB memory stick with pictures from the Hove festival to a friend about a month ago. They got the letter yesterday, it was opened and had gotten the address changed, and the memory stick wasn't in it. Since when did the mail service start censorship?
