This one store re-labeled old bananas as "dark bananas" and sold them for slightly higher price than good ones Win.

Shoulda chucked it in the freezer, accumulated a collection, then defrosted 'em and made banana cake/bread. The fact that mankind has actually found a good use for black bananas gives me hope that all things have some useful purpose.

I know, I love it. Whenever I grab a coffee while I'm out, it's gotta be with banana bread. I've got an alright recipe for it, but it has a fair bit of cream and always seems slightly undercooked at the bottom. But no other recipe makes it dense, like real bread. If it falls apart when you butter it, it's cake. I spose you need a breadmaker or something to get a true banana bread without heaps of cream.
