You haven't played Just Cause 2, have you?

Sadly, no. I think the point of that game is just to blow shit up and kill stuff. Sounds fun enough!

Playing MGS2, trying to finish the VR Missions.

First video game I've played in about half a year...

played through the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC for Mass Effect 2 on Insanity difficulty...was quite a bitch. That just showed again how horrible the AI in that game is. My squad mates were more dead than anything else doing anything but what I wanted them to do. Anyways...pretty frustrating but kinda fun.

only 5 days and then it's time for Halo Reach. Well, maybe 6 for me because I ordered it in the UK since every single German Halo game had HORRIBLE voice actors. Which makes me think that Other M's voice acting won't bother me as I'm used to much worse.

Well, flying around and jumping out of your plane at an insane altitude just to see how long it takes to fall to the ground, then grappling hooking yourself to the ground to hit it at an even higher speed(while taking no damage) just to grapple to a car and subsequently blow up a water tower...is way too much fun  Also, that probably made no sense. But if you're playing Just Cause 2, it doesn't matter.

I thought the demo of Just Cause was pretty cool, but lack of online-coop, or any kind of multiplayer mode killed it for me.
After Crackdown/Crackdown2/GTA IV, a sandbox game just isn't the same without some kind of multiplayer.

The parachute and grapple thing was pretty awesome though, I thought.

Trust me, the game would be a GOTY contender if it had some form of multiplayer, especially co-op.

finished Darksiders today. What an awesome game. Took me 18 hours to get through it but there was probably still a ton of hidden stuff that I didn't find. I very much recommend this game.

Well, with that baby, I am truly awesome :D
And there's no denying! :p
Modesty is my best quality, too.

I am now playing Bad Company and Modern Warfare -series through again, with the new darling I have.
I must say, that BC on the hardest difficulty isn't that hard.. :o
Don't know is it just my skills of awsum, or is it that easy.
Can't say the same of MW, playing it on veteran, and ... Oh boy, it's taking a lot of time :D
But now I need to play a hell lot of games again to get my own gamer points! :p

Unfortunately my internet is soooo bad, that I can't connect it to Live yet :/

But maybe someday we can play together! :D

the demo doesn't really speak for the game at all. I didn't like the demo either but then got the game very cheap and just went for it because of all the good reviews I have read and that totally changed my mind. Yeah, it may not have the same über-awesome graphics that God of War 3 has but that does not matter because I think as a game it is at least as good. There's just more exploring to do. The puzzles are WAY better and A LOT more challenging than any puzzle in any god of war game. Like I said before, it has a lot in common with Zelda games when it comes to that. There's even a long portion in the game that was heavily inspired by Portal, which some people may see as a rip off but to me it just made Darksiders even more fun because those puzzles are the most fun and challenging ones in the game. The boss battles are epic, the ending is awesome. The comic'ish character design is great too. It's an open world where you can revisit places and look for hidden treasures just like in Zelda. And it takes at least 15 hours to play through it which is a decent length for a game nowadays. Dunno, it just felt like a great and complete game.

I agree with pretty much everything you just said. I honestly really, really enjoyed the game and want to see more out of them soon.

I bought it just the other day 'cause it was cheap and looked good, but I was kinda disappointed. Granted, I haven't played through much so hopefully it gets better after playing through a bit more. I bought a bunch of games that day, including Dante's Inferno, which I've been spending most of my game time on 'cause it turned out to be more of what I expected Darksiders to be.
