Happy holidays all.

My sisters got me something nice, a repica of the girl with a pearl earring, made to look like a bloodied zombie.
I think it adds culture to my otherwise sparsely decorated flat.

I was going to write a rant in relation to what I posted in the Un-awesome thread but I decided to condense it into one thought because I feel too ill.

Fit and healthy people do not understand the plight of the poor and (not self-inflicted, to clarify) unhealthy people.

My father just went "Whats wrong with him now?" Only one of us has Asthma, only one of us truly understands it.

My son has asthma. I know how un-fun and scary it can be. :| Feel better soon!

I guess a family understands it better. My Mum certainly does. But some people will look at you while your standing there huffing and a puffing while frantically getting your inhaler on the go only to get a "Your not dead yet then" face off people.

Its not just Asthma in a sense, but a lot of conditions. I had a heart condition earlier in the year and the responses I had off people who weren't closest friends and family was a "Ah thats lovely..........so?"

Makes your blood boil, which considering the mess I was in was counter-productive

But give your son my regards and let him know there are others that share the pain :)

I was hospitalized for a large portion of my childhood due to asthma. This was before inhalers were around, so I was totally restricted in what I was allowed to due as a child. If I had a mild attack then I took this syrup called Marax. If that didn't help, or if the attack was severe (which they often were), I was hospitalized. So, no running, excessive laughing, or anything that may trigger an attack. It didn't take much.

Yeah, asthma isn't fun. I'm at a point in my life where mine is much, much better, but there was so much damage to my lungs as a child that I will always have some issues, and it will probably worsen again as I get older.

My son has asthma as well, but his not that bad and can be easily managed.

I think the problem with how asthma is perceived by others who don't have it is due to the fact that everyone knows someone with asthma, and in most cases it isn't that severe or life-threatening. They see someone having a severe attack, and they don't get it. "Billy has asthma, and he doesn't act like that."

Just don't let the ignorance of others get you down. It will always be there, so all you can do is take care of yourself and press on.

Did you try to dig in bottomless depths of kvraudio?

(And what that tape saturation does anyway?)

Just ate chocolate pudding.
Regretting my decision.

I hope I don't get sick, even if I do have to work tomorrow.

It makes things sound secksy. I want to try it on guitars for a re-doing of my first song. I didn't get so far in dat search list, I think I'm gonna ask my teacher in a week instead. Maybe I could find some old analog tape recorder and run the tracks through that lolololol.
