Not that in love with the Dragon Age 2 demo.
Bulletstorm is a lot of fun. But I can see how the fun may not last too long as it's pretty short and I'm not sure yet how much replay value this game has. But so far I'm digging it!
Of course new Mortal Kombat gets banned in Australia, but a new sex game about spanking and other kinky moves gets a PG rating here!

Damn, that sucks. I love the Mortal Kombat franchise, this just really puts me off when it comes to our country and video game ratings.

Well I guess you could buy an imported copy to get it, but then you can't buy downloadable content.

same problem here...Germany sucks the big one too when it comes to this issue. It won't be officially released here I'm sure and sooner or later it will get banned I'm sure. And we do have a 18+ rating here. But I'll get the game for my PS3. When you create a fake foreign account then I think you can download the DLC on PSN without your IP being blocked. That usually does not work on Xbox live.

How does German Bulletstorm looks like? Bought it yesterday and it's not exactly a PG game.
Is it just me or does this year's release schedule seem a bit thin compared to last year, or even the year before?
I cannot think of many games I am looking forward too, there is Dragon Ages 2, but thats about the only one I can think of. Maybe Rage also.
I'm hoping I'm just not up to date with the coming releases, as I dont patrol the gaming news site as much as I used too.

I didn't buy the German version as I try to stay away from censored crap. Might not be good for the German economy but hey, I didn't come up with the censorship crap and am old enough but play uncut games. Anyways...as far as I know they removed all splatter effects and ragdoll effects. Basically making the German version a farce.
Tangentially related: Bruce Campbell's autobiography had a piece on the in-flight version of Evil Dead 2 that never saw the light of day involved all of the gore being stripped out, making the movie seem like some sort of weird slapstick cartoon.
Campbell said that that was infinitely more terrifying than anything the film had to offer. I'm inclined to agree.

P.S.: There's gonna be a Mortal Kombat demo and it'll be released this month. On March 8th for PSN+ users and on the 15th for regular PSN users. Guess I'll have to wait a little longer as I'm not a PSN+ user but I can't fucking wait! I'll get the PS3 version anyways since the PS3 controller works better for beat em ups AND you can play as Kratos. Having him in the game doesn't make much sense but it will be fun anyways. There has been no demo release date announced for the Xbox 360 though. Warner Bros. only says that it will be released later.
