I cannot think of many games I am looking forward too, there is Dragon Ages 2, but thats about the only one I can think of. Maybe Rage also.
I'm hoping I'm just not up to date with the coming releases, as I dont patrol the gaming news site as much as I used too.

Absolutely not.

Dragon Age 2
Mass Effect 3
Gears Of War 3
Tekken vs Street Fighter
Tekken Tag 2
and several more I can't think of right now

Barely anything came out last year.

Portal 2
Mortal Kombat
L.A. Noire

Those are pretty high on my wanted list.

for me it's

Mass Effect 3 (although something tells me it will be a 2012 game, ME2 was delayed too),
Gears of War 3,
Mortal Kombat (toasty!),
Crysis 2,
L.A. Noire,
Portal 2,
Silent Hill Downpour,
Duke Nukem Forever
Infamous 2
Prototype 2
Resistance 3
Dead Island
The Elder Scrolls V

not sure about Dragon Age 2. I saw some demo gameplay and it did not really look all that good. Also not sure anymore about Homefront after I have seen the most recent screenshots. And as awesome as Dark Souls probably will be, I'm afraid I won't get it because Demon Souls is so freaking hard already and Dark Souls is supposed to be even more difficult.

These are the ones I forgot.

I'm also looking forward to The Darkness 2. Loved the first one and enjoyed the comic books when I was a teen. And Mike Patton will be the Darkness's voice again.

These are all looking tasty alright... I'm also looking forward to Team ICO's The Last Guardian if that'll see the light of day this year and I am STILL waiting on I Am Alive to ever make it to the shelves. Really been dragging on too long at this rate... Oh, and Batman: Arkham City should be released in Q3 of this year and is guaranteed to be all sorts of awesome. And the new Uncharted game should be out by year's end as well.

And speaking of Team ICO, they're re-releasing the old two games in the "Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection" for PS3 in the next few months, apparently. :D

I really only care about Arkham City/Mass Effect 3 so far.

I wasn't very impressed with the Dragon Age 2 demo, but we'll see how the reviews from you guys and the pros how it stacks up.

agree with everything you said. Forgot about all those. The Last Guardian should be awesome! I have wanted to play it ever since I've seen the first trailer.

Mass Effect 3, if released this year, sure love this serie.
Dragon Ages 2, loved the first one, but I should try the demo before buying
Dead Island, cool trailer, how about some gameplay? I'll keep it on the radar.

The first Infamous was ok, but bot great enough that I'd wanna play a sequel, sandbox games are fun, but they are a difficult way to tell a story.
Isnt there a new Deux Ex coming out as well? Have not played the first one, but from I read it could be a great game for me.

Not a fan of shooters or most fighting games really. I just think that this late in a video game generation we'd bombarded by great games, but it doest seem to be the case.
Anyways I am still playing last year's release and I just bought Shining Force pack on steam, so thats pretty awesome

Shining Force, eh?

Pretty much my favorite series of all time.

I've found myself wasting time with the old Command & Conquer series lately (Tiberium Dawn & Covert Ops). I don't think I'm very good at it but I love harassing NOD with Orcas and my precious Ion Cannon.

This week I think I'm ordering Just Cause 2 and Batman Arkham Asylum for my 360. Still haven't caved in and bought Fallout New Vegas, although they'd better hurry with that GOTY edition. :P

I'm still musing over whether or not to get Just Cause 2 nearly a year after the original release. Blasted indecision!

I have had it for a while now, and it can be great fun, the parachute gliding thing is pretty neat, and they use his grappling to great effect.
Weapons are generic and you unlock more weapons via completing missions and activities, and causing "chaos". They get upgrades when you find 5 upgrade parts on the map. The map is pretty huge also, and it's a sandbox style. You have a variety of vehicles that you can upgrade as well, but I just usually use the grappling hook/parachute to get around.

But what gets annoying is the collecting, you have to destory goverment property to earn chaos (think exp.) and collect "hidden" items, and once you have collecting everything in a village or military base, you get a bonus, and that is the meat of the game, so it can get boring quickly.

Still a good buy at around 20$, I would have felt cheated paying a full 60$ for it though.

Also Shining Force is most excellent, but have only played 1 and 2 and a little bit of Shining in the Darkness.
