Main event of UFC 130's been cancelled. Both Edgar and Maynard are injured so they're just bumping all the fights up a position... Srs disappoint. :?

Also, Superbikes at Monza over the weekend was EPIC. I do hope all those new teams get signed up and there's actually a full MotoGP grid next year. Till then Superbikes are gonna be my main source of bike racing entertainment, I'd say!

Wouter Weylandt died today in the 3rd stage of the Giro d'Italia after he fell badly. Leaves a pregnant wife behind.

Too tragic.

I saw that. Absolutely horrific looking. It looked like his head had been crushed or severely deformed by the fall or something. Awful stuff. You'd kinda forget cycling can be dangerous...

No champions league for Tottenham next season :(

Losing out to none other than Manchester Shitty City; The team my house mate "supports"; the team that are simply buying their way to success thanks to their club owner Sheikh Mansour; The team that too often put on boring/poor performances due to their lack of spirit/passion (+ many other ranting comments I could make).

Nevermind. We've had our go, now it's their turn. Just as long as they don't take it for granted and actually do something with their opportunity.

G'wan the Red Wings! Epic comeback against the Sharks, who look destined to bottle in again in the Playoffs. There's nothing I enjoy more than a good ol' Game 7. Can't wait for tomorrow night!

Yep, San Jose is doomed to implode, and if they somehow manage to win, they will lose horrendously next round. Detroit actually has a shot to carry that momentum to the finals.

When San Jose is your backyard growing up, you get used to the disappointing Sharks.

On the flipside in a sport I actually care about, the Giants have won 5 straight with basically half of their roster either joining a cult or being horribly injured, riding on the backs of a hobbit and two shambly just injured veterans. I love baseball.

Oh well, I'd have liked to see the wings go through. They showed a lot of heart, have some great players and quite frankly the more times I get to see Datsyuk play the better but it'll interesting to see who makes it. I'm hoping for Vancouver as I'd love to see a Canadian team lift the cup....from the east I'll go with Tampa cos St Louis is just a legend...and possibly the only player left who could fit in the cup

And very sad news :(

I could watch that goal on loop forever.

semi-related note....played my first proper hockey match today...medium contact because of mixed teams; we won 8-1, we had 47 shots on goal, so the score could've gone much higher.

I'm still pulling for that Vancouver - Tampa Bay final cos I reckon it'll be absolutely fantastic...

What worries me most about the Red Wings' loss is that it may be the last time Nik Lidstrom puts on that jersey. I really, really hope he doesn't retire and hangs on for next season. The man is an absolute legend and watching some of his performances were what seriously got me into ice hockey a few years back.

This is random, but after all these years as a baseball fan, I just now see there's an M and a B which form the glove of the Milwaukee Brewers logo. I thought it was just a stupid glove and thought nothing of it :-|
