Soon I shall have a piece of paper that says some people think I was clever enough to have a degree. First Class Honours, baby. 8) :D

For such a happy occasion, Dancing Bateman has returned!

YOU KING. MAKE SURE YOU RUB IT IN THE FACE OF ALL NON-BELIEVERS. I'm off to my old highschool tomorrow to see the art department's A-Level show. The Art teachers worshipped me, the other teachers liked me, but the IT teachers hated me (and my form tutor was an IT teacher....yaaaaay.), so hopefully I'll be able to run into some of them and tell them how their shitty computer-based teachings and unjustified dislike towards me totally benefited my four years on one of the most demanded courses at one of the most poncy art schools in the world 8) And now I get to make badass stuff by myself (but occasionally with the help of people I like) and I'm in the process of getting a Makro card! BOOM! Teachers can't get Makro cards.

That's what he wants you to think.
When the stars are correctly aligned, those bristles show to the world their true form as tentacles.

I MADE A SONG

CLICK!

It's a pretty crap song... but it was just for a bit of fun / old times sake.

Me and my pal Jamie started a little non-serious/jokey project when we were younger (11-ish years old) called Ostur (Norwegian for Cheese, we think), after I made a little music box melody on Guitar Pro and started talking over the top of it with pitch shifted voices.

A little story developed, about two baby giants playing with a Dolly. It ends up getting broken, and a huge feud is started.

Anyway... Mrs. Dolly-No-More is the first song of the planned trilogy. We recorded some songs years ago, weren't happy with the quality, started again, then my hard drive failed and we lost everything. We then put the project to bed pretty much, until about a week ago, when I decided we should just record this one song, just to leave something behind.

So here it is. Nuffin' special... just a bit of fun :)

P.S. - Like us on Facebook / share the song if you're awesome like that :D

It's sales times here in France, so I went to a store (with trendy clothes, dolce gabana, etc... whatever), and you have some t-shirt at 65€ AFTER a 40 or 50% discount, which means some t-shirt initially cost 130€, for a mere t-shirt ? Are those made of silk ? glass-fiber ?

Some jeans price at 140€, again, AFTER the 50% reduc, what's wrong in this world ? (I mean, what's not ?)

I wouldn't mind (well, maybe a bit anyway) if I could have the certitude that it's some great quality product worth the price and that the little hands that crafted it were rightly paid for their work, but chances are those come from the same cheap labour factory than the clothes that cost a third of that price.

Yeah...totally hear you. I just don't go into the shops anymore. At first I thought I was just cheap, because there are people in those shops with arm-loads of clothing to buy, but no clothing is worth that much money - $130 for a skirt? What? $75 for a tee shirt? I either make my own clothes or go thrifting. Never minded looking a bit like a ragamuffin.

Ost is Norwegian for cheese. Ostur is like a Norwegian parody of Icelandic. (basically, add the -ur suffix to everything) :D

Bloody... ICELANDIC! That's what I meant...

We just used Google translate lol. I always forget it was the Icelandic translation that we used, not Norwegian... but still, thanks for the info :)
