Apparently Melbourne and surrounds had a 3.3 magnitude earthquake today. I didn't feel it, though I wonder if any of my stuff at home will have moved. Probably not. The last time I felt an earthquake was back in 2000 (or 2001?) in the middle of the night; it wasn't much, woke me up though. Well, the only one I can actually remember anyway.

Some jeans price at 140€, again, AFTER the 50% reduc, what's wrong in this world ? (I mean, what's not ?)

I wouldn't mind (well, maybe a bit anyway) if I could have the certitude that it's some great quality product worth the price and that the little hands that crafted it were rightly paid for their work, but chances are those come from the same cheap labour factory than the clothes that cost a third of that price.

The best ones are these factory made to look old and worn out, and still damn expensive. Well thank you very much, I can DIY this shit for much cheaper.

This stuff is spanning multiple industries too, who the hell buys these "relic" guitars? Seriously.

This surely beats all. Wiki says the original had a knot in the body - I wonder if they recreated that.

Wow, i haven't signed into this board or account for ooooo 6 years. Was just curious if it still worked!

Listening to 'War' right now. Tried to create a 'best of devin townsend' playlist to listen to on my ipod. It was really damm tricky. Much as i love Devin, alot of his songs which work so well in the album they are in become difficult to slot into a compilation when you remove them from their brothers! Plus i tried to have at least one song from each release so far as possible - which means the current playlist time is about 3 hours 15 minutes. Rather long! So far on this work in progress i've got:-

Truth
Triumph
Seventh Wave
Material
War
The Way Home!
Deep Peace
Coast
Deadhead
Ghost
Bad Devil
The Complex
Life
Funeral
Nobody's Here
Awake!!
ZTO
By Your Command
Depth Charge
Christeen
Earth Day
Pixillate
Supercrush!
Voices In The Fan
Kingdom
Sunday Afternoon
Blackberry
Bastard
The Greys
Tiny Tears
Hypergeek
Hyperdrive!
Gaia
Slow Me Down.

Any thoughts on this? - Any improvements? I couldn't fit anything from Deconstruction in, which i am struggling to get into it must be said, and i don't have any punky bruster or the Christeen EP.

So yeah, perhaps i should get on with the housework now.

Why does all djentbands have "sophisticated" names?
Tesseract, Circles, Think, Hydrodjent, Monuments, Bulb, Volumes ect.
Everytime i hear about a new djentband it feels like my head is going to explode.
-Dude check this band out they are awesome, they play like pollyrythmic metal.
-Oh.. What are they called?
-Structures.
-FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

I walk into the break room and see heavy rain pouring outside. I revel in the sight of it (the door that leads to the outer terrace blows open and lets in a gust of wind that feels good), and then a clear patch in the moving clouds with blue sky kills the atmosphere. That's Melbourne!
