I really only like the Transformers movies because I'm a fanboy and grew up watching the cartoon show when it was released. I remember playing with the toys in Kindergarten, heh. But yeah, if you're not biased these movies are pretty useless too, just like any other Bay movie. I read how 'The Rock' is his best movie but I didn't really care much for that one either.

are you telling me you do not love random gratuitous explosions?

And still awesome. :)

Louis C.K. "Hilarious"

It's one of his best specials, which in turn means it's some of the finest stand up comedy out there. Love it/him.

It's fantastic, I agree completely.

The man is just plain old funny.

Fucking love that movie!!
If you haven't seen the Snowball Effect documentary that comes with the tenth anniversary edition, it's insanely inspiring stuff! Maybe it's just because I'm a big ol' pussy, but it brought me to tears the first time I watched it.

Just watched Four Brothers. Nothing life changing, but overall a pretty good watch. Markie Mark Kicks ass, as usual. My only problem is I waited the entire movie for Andre 3000 to sing Hey Ya, or Sorry Ms. Jackson, and it never happened.

Hehe, I have exactly that anniversary DVD box. Haven't watched all of what is on there though, but I probably will sometime in the next few weeks since I'll be without internet+tv at my new home. Serves me right for leaving the application until the last moment. At least I get to work through a nice backlog of music, movies and games. :)

It's a really good doc for the whole cheesy "follow your dreams" type message!

My power conveniently decided to go out, leaving me cable/internetless the day I got Ghost/Decon. It was AWESOME.
Sometimes going without cable isn't a bad thing!

Rec 2.

Not bad, had an interesting story and a few good thrills, and nice twist ending. Some characters weren't all that appealing though, and the acting overall wasn't quite as good the original.
Still, I'd recommend it, but I prefer the original Rec, and even to some degree Quarantine.

Sorry for the double post but thanks for posting this... I hear very good things about this film which is, frankly, bloody surprising! I will now try to convince Mrs Juz to overcome her fear of fake primates to see this.

Saw Harry Potter. Enjoyed it the most of all of them ( a couple were just shit). Good job by the Director I thought, and glad I saw it in 2d. 3D can kiss my proper 3d bum right now. It's a gimmicky rip off that needs much work. But back on topic, I must admit I got sucked into the last HP film and enjoyed much of it.

Miller's Crossing

fuckin A+ flick. Loved the story, great acting, just the usual Coen brothers sweetness as expected. So not much more to say about that. I watched it on Blu-Ray. It looked pretty good actually but the picture was a tiny bit soft (suppose that's what the source material is like too) and the use of digital noise reduction was very evident but not bothersome by any means. Overall they did a pretty good job with this one.

I'll receive my The Big Lebowski Blu-Ray copy sometime after the 22nd of this month and I just can't fucking wait! I've watched this movie 3 or 4 times this year already but could really watch it at least once a week. And once I'll own this movie in HD I just might do that! :D Just love it.

In 2 weeks me and my best friend will actually have a movie marathon, half of it will cosist of Coen brothers movies. So far it looks like we'll watch The Big Lebowski, True Grit, Barton Fink, Miller's Crossing and O brother, where art thou. Might try to pick up 'A Serious Man' too because neither of us has seen it yet. As for non-Coen flicks I'm not sure yet. But we may do Tron Legacy and Rango. And I am really interested in 'Crazy Heart' since I love Jeff Bridges and a friend of mine told me it's great so I might try to pick that one up too before the 27th. Fun, fun, fun! :D
