I posted this in the random thoughts forum not knowing if it deserved it's own topic, but I've decidingly decided it does:

The West Memphis Three are free.

I've been following the case for some time and it is beyond amazing that they are finally free. Never thought it would happen, despite zero evidence linking them to the crimes. Just figured the obviously inept US judicial system would let another 3 innocent men slip through the cracks. Still slightly bittersweet as they had to plead guilty to be released, but at least they're free men. Either way, it's a great day.

Anyway, weigh in with your thoughts. And if your not you should really watch the two documentaries on the 3, great films.
