That said I am having bouts of wicked anxiety that I really am having trouble filtering out, so this isn't whining and not unawesome but literally seeking techniques to filter it out if any of you guys know any.
Things I've tried: Jogging/working out, creative works, watching something, eating, etc. And while a lot of these things are nice, most of them require for me to not be working or otherwise occupied. I am pretty susceptible to bouts of anxiety, but I genuinely do not know what to do when it comes up when perhaps I'm out with people or otherwise not in a place where I can just take off on my lonesome. It's not strong enough to require medication, and besides that, I don't want my brain burnt and dependent on SSRIs.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, and I am fully aware how idiotic it is to post this on a public forum, but it's not exactly something I'm comfortable talking about with people in my day to day.

and don't worry about being a hippie, I'm among the more granola people here.

Who would tell you that they're disrespectful/why?
