well, I was told for years not to watch it. Everyone has always told me how much it sucks. Well, I should have listened to them. Wow...just wow. This must be one of the worst horror movie sequels ever. Well, it's not really a horror movie anyways. It's incredibly lame and boring. Nothing ever happens in that movie and the climax is pretty lame too as they tried to squeeze in some action and failed horribly. That was my first and last time wasting my time with this train wreck.

I think I've seen video review of it in Cinemassacre series , guy had the same impressions.

This movie supplied "teeth of the wind" sample for FSOL's "Dirty shadows" though, this is more than enough to justify its existence if you ask me.

I love this movie. It's well made and funny with pretty good special effects for a movie from 1996. Guess it was Peter Jackson's first big budget movie and thanks to this movie he had the equipment for the Lord of the Rings movies. Michael J. Fox is in it who I've loved since the 80's, too bad he's not in movies much anymore, probably due to his Parkinson's disease. And Jeffrey Combs did a terrific job playing a completely insane FBI agent. Guess this movie goes into a similar direction as movies such as Braindead, Evil Dead 2, etc. , it's a horror movie that doesn't take itself too seriously. I will most likely pick up the US Blu-Ray version of this movie. It contains both the theatrical cut and the director's cut and the picture quality is supposed to be great.

Meet Dave, with Eddie Murphy and Elizabeth Banks... Wasnt expecting much from this one but was actually good for a laugh. Eddie Murphy's antics and comedic style won me over in this movie watch if youre not expecting much and want a good lol at a corky movie.

Moon : Went in with zero knowledge of it, went out with absolute surprise. A friend told me that it was directed by David Bowie's son after I saw it, she's made me want to see it again!

I remember thinking there was a MASSIVE plot hole in that movie. I can't remember what it was, but I think it had something to do with him leaving? In any case, it was a pretty well done. I liked the smiley helper thing

Have I mentioned "Lars and the Real Girl"? Other than the guy who plays Ryan Gosling's brother, this movie was absolutely brilliant. Took what could have been a trite story into an affectionate and believable one.

Three rentals, first Paul comedy from Nick Frost & Simon Pegg. Some pretty funny stuff here, English comedy meets U.S. And naturally some references to other sci-fi movies as well Then some animation, Rio. Pretty basic stuff, not bad. Finally Tucker & Dale vs evil, horror/comedy but it's safe to say that this is more comedy than anything else. Still, pretty nice and entertaining trio, no major dissapointments here.

Aww I just watched The Dark Crystal again on DVD, then I watched it again with the commentary from Brian Froud. I also have only recently seen Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, I absolutely love it. But today's cinematic goodness comes from India, you might have seen a viral clip of "Robot" floating around the net last year, I just watched the full length film and I'm not a big fan of Bollywood style films but this one was good. It's worth it just for the last half hour.

First one is legitimately a very fun adventure movie, unlike anything that had been coming out at the time. Popcorn flick, sure, but a good one. Everything that followed was awful.

Nightmare On Elm Street: Finally saw it. I dunno, perhaps its age makes it predictable (plus I knew what was going to happen), but Craven knows how to make a movie. His sense of humour is unparalleled, or maybe it's just my sick love of irony...
Robert Englund is a champ.

Freddy vs Jason: Finally saw this too. I thoroughly enjoyed its toungue-in-cheek approach, particularly to Freddy. I have always seen him as a joker, so it was good to get some of his one-liners. Stupid fun.

Wishmaster: Holy shit, this was better than I expected. Came in blind, but once again, anything that Craven touches is gold. Loved the irony and Nathaniel Demarest's take on being a horror villain. Now to see the rest of them.

hmmm, looks like a post-Halloween horror flick marathon!

I wanted to continue my marathon after Halloween but I'm afraid I'm all movie'd out and all video game'd out right now! I should be getting 'Night of the Creeps' on Blu-Ray soon though which was my very first horror flick when I was a little shit back in the 80's. Can't wait for that!
