Just got in an argument with my neighbor's 40 year old grandson.
I was playing drums and I hear a knock on the window. I knew he was weird enough to come into our backyard and do so, so I kept playing, pretending to just ignore him. I figured that he would just leave. I was wrong. I look up, he's in my room waving at me. He asks, "Is it cool if I come in?" Didn't matter, CAUSE HE JUST FUCKING WALKED IN! I'm instantly pissed. I tell him it's not cool for him to just walk into someone's house, it's weird. He told me he knocked first, then went onto our property and knocked on my window. He said he knocked on our door again, and it just opened. (didn't happen, we have a sturdy door.) So he walked in. I explained to him how knocking on the window was weird. While explaining this, a beer falls out of his pocket and he stumbles to pick it up. HE'S DRUNK! He's bitching at me for being weirded out by him walking in, justifying it by saying, "If your friends did it, you wouldn't be acting this way". I told him that I've known them for about 6 years, I've met him maybe 6 times in the past four years. He gives up and just stands there. He looks at my drums and goes, "Can I play?" I told him I'm not in the mood for that. He argued with me about THAT! "What do you mean? You can't explain that, what are you saying I can't play? You don't have a reason to not be in the mood." DUDE. You just walked into my house and argued with about how it's cool for you to walk in any time, you've put me in a bad mood. Then he wants to play bass. I tell him no. He sits for a second, looks at me, then says, "I'm just gonna open a beer, you want some?" I tell him no, I don't drink. He gets all up in arms about that. He stands for maybe 30 seconds with this stupid fucking look on his face. "Do you want me to leave?" I told him very nicely yes, that this whole thing has put me in a really bad mood. He's walking out of my room and goes, "I love you, Stuart." I don't say anything out of what-the-fuckness, I walk him to the door, as he steps out, I lock it. He watches me walk away from the door. WHAT. THE. FUCK. The worst part is, I know he's gonna be back.
