I wish I could say I was surprised that this has happened in the UK, but I've never understood why or what stigma could possibly be relevant to justify this.
Also the school system is completely retarded here, in case you can't tell. Standard practice is to isolate the victim rather than remove the little twatty bastards who're causing the shit.

It became fashionable because comedians were no longer allowed to target other groups in society so they invented a new 'safe' one. Unfortunately they seem to have created a real problem. It annoys me immensely.
I have a map to the Kingdom but was forced to surrender the keys.
