Sheeeeeyit. Hope you're ok Violet.

RIP Maurice Sendak, creator of the best kid's book I know.

I'll be fine, consultant's been sorting it out. Without anaesthetic. Or painkillers. I'm a very very sore and miserable panda. It's ok though- if I wasn't having it done now, I'd be in a world of shit further down the line, which would never do because I have important work to do this summer!

No painkillers. That's impressive, although it also sounds like a bitch to endure. Hope you heal soon.

Basically without going into too much detail, if you were getting this procedure done on your throat; you'd be under a general. If you get it done BEHIND your eardrum; just hold still and hope the consultant doesn't pierce your brain.

Banged my rib last Wednesday night, climbing over a slippery railing near my friend's flat, and it's still hurting now. Not much, and it'll probably only take a week or two to heal. What sucks is that I'd gotten into a pretty good exercise routine and was about to join the gym, which I now can't do until it's healed. I'm putting down a lot of money for a professional photoshoot this week, as a surprise for my girlfriend on our second anniversary, and I want to be in as good a shape as possible for it! I'll just have to make up for lost time, I guess.

Grand now today! Still hurt this morning which had me slightly worried but we had a ton of orders to ship out from the factory side of the business (thankfully a people/vegan-free area!) that kinda forced me to use it despite it hurting and it actually started to feel alright in the afternoon. Hopefully it'll be alright now come morning and I can put this thoroughly ridiculous experience behind me.

Good man! The amount of nasty hand/finger related injuries I've had over the years, I don't give a shit about the pain; just nerve damage or even worse...so always keep an eye on the colour of your digits after a grizzly cut!!!

My ISP's just put a blanket ban on whatever it deems to be 'offensive' web content, without asking any of it's customers...And before this stupid law comes into effect which it may even never do. Now I can't access Reddit or porn (the former is probably a blessing in disguise) but since I live alone and I'm the account holder with my ISP, as a paying customer I'm fucking fuming they've brought this in without even informing their users and now I have to declare I'm a pervert to get it back.

Who is your ISP?

Virgin Media wont let me go to piratebay anymore, though it doesnt seem to stop you using bittorrents sourced from the site if you access it through a client like Vuze. So its all a bit stupid really.

People are always going to find a way round these things, especially if there is little alternative as an incentive.

Talktalk. Aye,I can get around it but it's the principle I'm angry about. As I'm paying them to access the web, I want to be left alone to make the moral choices over whatever I choose to view. And fap incessantly.

Maybe they're worried about your morals (or lack thereof), and this is a kind of intervention. :P
