More stupid comments.
I made a crackhead on the train angry tonight. I was at the back minding my own business when she approached me, begging for spare change.
I politely informed her that I didn't have any, and she snapped, shouting loudly, "Right then! There's no point! There's no fucking point because none of you fuckers ever have change! Fuck you!" She then proceeded back to one of the forward carriages, cursing all the way.
Just as well I didn't tell her I had $16.00 in my wallet, but then again, it's my money which I earned, and I'm not going to spare a cent so she can fuel her addictions.

My mum n dad are back from spending 3 weeks in India. They were very....honest about it. They said it was the filthiest country they've both ever been to, that people literally shit in the street, it's much more expensive than you'd expect, about three people in their party got sick, even a bunch of the 5-star hotels were a bit grim, and no one in the country knew how to make a sandwich properly. Which is very comforting to hear, as it was a business trip I was supposed to be going on but could not because of commitments in the UK so will be going next year instead...*starts stocking up on hand sanitiser*
What was lol though, they had a proper knit-your-own-yoghurt, string sandaled, shakra-flailing hippy with them who had obviously had some fantasy image of the place, with the spiritual encounters n shizz who was constantly getting worked up and stressed out over everything, and kept embarrassing herself whenever she went on some political rant infront of both of my (not posh, but incredibly well read and fiercely Westernised) parents. She was furious that her 24-year old daughter thought my mum was awesome (as she seemed to be brainwashing her apparently), and she actually stormed off in a massive huff when the group leader (Indian) and my dad started having a chat about the Masons, which they're both members of. I thought hippies were supposed to be chilled out!

Haven't received my visa update yet. Getting antsy.

Yeah, India is quite nasty. I saw half-dead people lying in the streets. It was like that pretty much everywhere, I was in 5 different cities. Taj Mahal and other ruins are nice though.
Yeah they pretty much said the same thing. Said the streets are absolutely packed with stray dogs and cows too. Blergh.

Let's not forget the religious violence in the streets.
Erm, you sure about that? Mum says she didn't even see as much as a quarrel on the street. The only arguing was with the stroppy hippy in their party.

My Uncle was stabbed multiple times in India when he was walking home one evening. Him and his wife used to live there for like half a year at a go sometimes to get away from England. So I guess it does happen alright...
shut up and kiss me you walking infection
I have to say, I like Indian culture, food, etc, my roommate is even Indian, but that is one country I just have no desire to go to. Not even necessarily for the reasons listed above, I'm just... not interested.
