Timing is terrible, as I will probably be in Green Bay when this happens, which means I would have to drive four hours to Minneapolis to a venue I have never heard of.

Vittu!

The new album or a show?

Well, both, but I was referring to a show.

Or you could go to Chicago, it is pretty fast ripping down 43.

I just hope he plays something other than the "rock" setlist he played in Chicago last time. It was a rockin time but I wanna hear some more varied stuff.

Saw Gojira at a 200 person club a couple months back. The crowd there cracked me up. A good quarter the kids walked in with their chests puffed out to show off the same From Mars to Sirius era shirt. Most deflated when they saw the sheer quantity of that merch in attendance but one guy seemed hell bent on making sure everyone saw how worn out his was. Took me back to going to see the Lad and needing to make sure I had on the right beat up almost translucent shirt so people knew I was "elite" back in '97.

Anyhow, tour dates look decent to me. Part of me misses the old routes a bit where they'd do CT or RI and either Albany or Poughkeepsie too. Then I realize that I'm not 20 anymore and actually sleep now.

The problem is that by the time Devin brings it around to Chicago, I will be back in Eau Claire. And it's on a goddamn Monday.

This, he's playing the same venue that I saw him at last time, it would be some serious deja vu to go talk to him again like 5 months later

Monday in St Peterburg (Feb 4), too. But fuck it. I am probably not going to get another chance to see him so I am seizing the opportunity.

Looks like Vancouver for me. Seattle is usually a bit easier to get to, but the gig is on a Sunday, so I'd have to skip Monday at work.
