Yeah, she said it was pretty fucked alright. Thankfully they got away with it as much as was possible, really. Not half as much damage as some other places around there got hit with... She got power back pretty quickly as well after it had passed.

it's not just Star Wars. There might also be an actual good new Indiana Jones movie that may make us forget the atrocity that is Indy 4. Although it's really hard to forget that one.

Everyone keeps asking me if I have any friends or relatives on the east coast. The answer is no, but every time I get asked, I feel a degree more worse for those affected.

They're not for regions that are densely populated and rarely get them. It's getting Mad Max out here.

I think part of the problem is that buildings in New England aren't necessarily designed to withstand Hurricane conditions.
