Hey guys and gals. For those who don't know, I lost my beautiful boy yesterday.

For those who didn't meet him, here's his story:
Bram was brought to me by my mother as a tiny kitten, abandoned in a box with his siblings down an isolated country lane in the cold of September '09. He'd a few marks on his eyes due to exposure and the odd scratch from exploring in the brambles (hence his name) looking for food.
After a few days of hiding behind the TV he eventually came to investigate me and I instantly fell in love with him and we got to know each other over the next four years and we had such a deep bond. He'd seen me through my lowest times and the best. Always waiting for me behind the door when I came back from work asking for a cuddle.
The kitten with him in the photos is his daughter, Misha. She was hand-reared by me due to being such a small runt her mother didn't bother feeding her as there was little chance of her survival. Luckily she made it and is also very close and clings to me now. She keeps going to look for him, but I found her resting next to Bram's body, kneading and snuggling up to him when I discovered he was gone. He had no pre-existing conditions and was eating and drinking as normal the day before so it came as a complete shock. I took him back to my mothers and laid him to rest in her garden, with enough space next to him for Misha when the time comes. They were so close it felt like the right thing to do.
He was the most loving and easygoing guy, and was the first to come over and comfort me if I was upset. Same for Misha, they'd play, sleep and do everything together. It really does feel like there's a huge part of my household (and heart) missing. Anyone that knows me knew I loved him more than words can express. G'night bud, sleep well.
