Then again, you're self-critical, which means you aren't really that closed-minded.

But who's to say that I'm not closed-minded in the respect that I'm critical mostly of myself, and then my beliefs promulgate through my outward manner to those who are closed-minded, seeming like it's the negation for closed-minded ways, which would again make me closed-minded, when I was originally open-minded.

I guess as long as an opinion exists, open-mindedness is a Utopian ideal.

And my head hurts.

I've posted twice already, but may as well say hi in here anyway, as I am a total newbie. I'm already liking this place more than most other forums I've come across.
Actually, I suck at introductions, so I'll just leave it at that.

Hi all.

I used to do a bit of admin on some Dev site or another a while back but haven't been able to post much of late. I guess that means I'm a born-again newbie. Now, if I could only stitch my bits back together I could pass myself off as a vir..

...sorry.

Hey, IT"S GOOD TO BE BACK!!

Many thanks. :D

I guess I should have a look around and see what I missed. It's a good thing I have a bit of time on my hands!

Hey!

It's good to be back (if only for a while... I'm moving again in a couple of weeks and won't be online as regularly!).

I hope all is well at your end, mate. It's going pretty well here. I'm getting married to my beautiful lady Aisha in November. Woohoo!

Also found out I have a mild to moderate case of Meniere's Disease. Check it out on google if you're interested... it's difficult to explain! It kinda sucks but I'm reading up on it and working out how to deal with it. As long as it doesn't stop me working or take away my hearing (for obvious reasons), it'll all be sweet.

Rock on, Geoff!

Hi Juz, welcome to the board. My mother suffers badly from Miniere's, so I understand what that can be like. I think it is quite rare as it took a long time for her to be diagnosed. She has managed to keep it at bay buy changing her diet a lot and staying as healthy as possible.

I did recently get her into metal though...maybe I should be worried about her ears? Heh.

Hiya. I remember you! How's it going? Your av has changed since last we met. The new one is pretty damn cool though. :)

Sorry to hear about your mum. It's a bugger of a disease because there's no cure... they don't even know for sure what causes the fluid to "leak" in your ear to begin with, so it's pretty frustrating. Glad to hear your mum is managing it well though. I think that's the key... cut salt out of your diet, get as healthy as possible and avoid too much lateral neck movement.

As for metal... Even if it did make me sick, I wouldn't give it up!

The "other" Dev here....lmao.. I've been lurking here for a month or so and signed up last week.

I just started listening to Dev's music within the year and it's like the whole world opened up to me.
I haven't listened to anything else since....the guy's a genius as far as I'm concerned...

Just thought I'd say "HI"!
