Sometimes that's done really strangely. Like with Metallica's "Frantic" where they cut like two bars worth of riff here and there. I reckon around 30 seconds were cut in total. What's the point?

That song is awful, so the shorter the better. Especially if that means more of the other songs.

I get it when on the decks, im not supposed to play anything too long. 5 mins is the accepted time... i usually think bollocks to that! I have played full opeth tracks especially Harvest all 13 mins.

Sorry my bad. Yes harvest is 6.01 but i let it run into The Drapery Falls as they sound awsome together.
